A distal reusable power pack is detachably arranged with the proximal disposable part such that the delivery member cover has an extension position in which the delivery member cover is extended in the proximal direction to cover a medicament delivery member of the medicament container, and a retraction position in which the delivery member cover is retracted in the distal direction to expose said medicament delivery member. The distal reusable power pack can have a power unit, a rotational drive unit and a plunger unit, where the rotational drive unit is powered by the power unit and is configured to move the plunger unit upon being triggered.

AUTOINJECTOR

An autoinjector includes a housing and a drive chassis arranged linearly moveable within the housing. The drive chassis includes a dispensing limb and a trigger limb. The trigger limb and the dispensing limb are arranged in parallel to one another and are connected to one another at a respective distal end of the dispensing limb and the trigger limb.

CELLULAR THERAPY INFUSION DEVICES, SYSTEMS, AND METHODS FOR USE
20230063936 · 2023-03-02 ·

Cellular therapy infusion devices for the delivery of media including cellular therapies to a patient's tissue, cells, and/or blood include a barrel, a plunger that fits within the barrel, a syringe shaft, and a pressure relief system configured to achieve and/or maintain a desired level of pressure and/or force within the device so that cellular behavior and/or viability is not adversely impacted by the mechanical forces exerted thereon via depressing the plunger into the barrel so the cellular therapy media may be pushed from the barrel into a patient delivery device for administration to the patient. The cellular therapy infusion devices may cooperate with and/or fit into cellular therapy infusion systems designed to create and/or maintain preferred conditions for the cellular therapy media stored in the barrel and automatically administer the cellular therapy media from the cellular therapy infusion device to the patient in a steady, regulated, and/or preferred manner.

Automatic injection device

An automatic injection device including a housing element, at least one resilient element arranged to be located within the housing element, a syringe including at least one syringe piston, a needle guard adapted for selectable positioning with respect to the housing element and a selectable driving element adapted, when actuated, to be driven by the at least one resilient element for initially displacing the syringe relative to the housing element from a non-penetration position to a penetration position and thereafter displacing the at least one syringe piston in the syringe to effect drug delivery and displacing the needle guard into a needle guarding position.

SYRINGE WITH BIASING MEMBER

Syringes are described herein. In certain embodiments, a syringe includes a syringe body, a movable plunger, and a biasing member. The syringe body defines a cavity and a port in fluid communication with the cavity. The movable plunger is disposed within the cavity. The plunger and cavity define a volume. The port is in fluid communication with the volume. The biasing member is coupled to the plunger. The biasing member is configured to urge the plunger toward the port to dispense a fluid stored within the volume at a desired rate.

An injector device includes an injector body that receives a syringe; and an injection assembly being configured to dispense medicament from the syringe in a dispensation step. Certain types of injector devices include a sudden completion indicator that indicates when the injection is completed. Certain types of injector devices are configured to dispense two different medicament formulations having different viscosities from syringes without making any changes to the injector devices other than to switch out the syringes. Certain types of injector devices include safety arrangements that inhibit firing of the injector device until front and rear housing assemblies are disposed in predetermined rotational and axial positions relative to each other.

CLOCK MECHANISM FLOW REGULATOR

An automatic injection device with flow regulation is disclosed. The automatic injection device has an insertion needle configured to be inserted into a patient and a drug container which contains a pharmaceutical product and includes a plunger. The automatic injection needle also has a fluid path which fluidly connects the drug container to the patient via an insertion device, a potential energy source, and a regulator configured to restrict release of potential energy and restrict linear movement of the plunger and the pharmaceutical product into the fluid path at a proscribed pace. The regulator includes a clock escapement mechanism. The potential energy source may be a spring that surrounds the drug container and may be magnetically coupled to the plunger. The clock escapement mechanism is configured to control the spring at a regulated rate over a time interval using a gearbox and rotational-to-linear translator comprising a rack and a pinion.

MEDICAMENT DELIVERY DEVICES FOR ADMINISTRATION OF A MEDICAMENT WITHIN A PREFILLED SYRINGE

An apparatus includes a housing, a medicament container and a movable member. The medicament container is movable within the housing between a first position and a second position in response to a force produced by an energy storage member. A proximal end portion of the medicament container includes a flange and has a plunger disposed therein. A first shoulder of the movable member exerts the force on the flange to move the medicament container from the first position to the second position. A portion of the first shoulder deforms when the medicament container is in the second position such that at least a portion of the force is exerted upon the plunger. A second shoulder of the movable member exerts a retraction force on the flange to move the medicament container from the second position towards the first position.
