An injector device includes an injector body that receives a syringe; and an injection assembly being configured to dispense medicament from the syringe in a dispensation step. Certain types of injector devices include a sudden completion indicator that indicates when the injection is completed. Certain types of injector devices are configured to dispense two different medicament formulations having different viscosities from syringes without making any changes to the injector devices other than to switch out the syringes. Certain types of injector devices include safety arrangements that inhibit firing of the injector device until front and rear housing assemblies are disposed in predetermined rotational and axial positions relative to each other.

AUTOINJECTOR

An autoinjector includes a body (1; 1010), a reservoir containing fluid product, a piston, a needle, a piston rod (5 5; 1005) that is displaceable between a loaded position and an injection position, and an injection spring (8; 1008) to stress 10 the piston rod towards the injection position. The autoinjector also includes an injection lock having a control sleeve (4; 1004) containing the piston rod and the injection spring. The piston rod includes a radial recess (50; 1050) receiving a substantially spherical blocking element (7; 1007) mobile between a blocking position and an unblocking position, stressed radially towards the exterior by the piston rod, and held in the blocking position by a blocking member (23; 1004) that is displaceable relative to the piston rod to release the blocking element.

Skin-attachable miniature drug injection device with remote activation capability and dry drug carrier within injection needle

An active agent or drug injecting device (10) includes a main housing (16) containing a trigger mechanism (24) which can be manually activated via release bar (32) or remotely triggered via wireless receiver (70) activating motor (74), and a second housing (80) containing an injection- and needle-assembly (22). The needle (30) encloses a dry carrier (26) having an active agent (12) disposed thereon. The trigger mechanism triggers the injection assembly to propel the needle into the skin (via spring (54)), to inject the active agent into a living organism (either by letting the active agent diffuse out of the needle or by actively flushing it out), and to subsequently retract the needle back into the housing (80) (via spring (64)).

Microcartridge

A container for delivering a medicament to a target location includes a housing having a proximal end and a distal end, the housing including a cap locking tab at the distal end, and a vial containing the medicament. The container includes a plunger slidable within the vial from a proximal end to a distal end of the vial to dispel the medicament, an injection member associated with the distal end of the vial, such that the medicament dispelled from the vial passes through the injection member to the target location, and a slidable interaction member associated with the distal end of the vial configured to slide with the vial. An interaction between the slidable interaction member and the cap locking tab causes the cap locking tab to bias outward, and placement of a safety cap on the container after use locks the safety cap onto the container via an interaction with the cap locking tab. The container may further include a resistance feature to control movement of a plunger rod relative to the vial.

There is provided an injection device for delivering a medicament from a container. The device includes, a housing for housing a container, a plunger substantially housed within the housing and which is movable within the housing, a force applicator for applying a force to the plunger, a trigger coupled to the force applicator for releasing the force applicator to fire the device, a boot, a dose selector for allowing a user to select a dose of medicament, and a first mechanical interlock arranged such that the force applicator cannot be released until the dose selector has been operated to select the dose of medicament, and a second mechanical interlock arranged such that the dose selector cannot be operated to select the dose of medicament prior to removal of the boot.

INJECTION APPARATUS

Disclosed is an auto-injection apparatus for receiving a syringe, including: an outer casing enclosing a drive assembly and a syringe carrier configured to hold a barrel of the syringe, the syringe carrier being forward of the drive assembly and having stowed and delivery positions; an interlock extending between the syringe carrier and a syringe carrier housing at least partially surrounding the syringe carrier, the interlock preventing forward motion of the syringe carrier under the influence of an insertion actuator whilst in the stowed position. The drive assembly includes the insertion actuator for inserting a needle of the syringe into an injection site and a delivery actuator for driving a plunger into a barrel of the syringe which contains a substance for injection. The syringe carrier includes an interlock release mechanism which is configured to release the interlock such that the insertion actuator drives the syringe carrier forward.
