The first connector is provided with a first space block. The second connector is provided with a second space block; a fixed component capable of holding the first mold and the second mold in a coupled state by being rotatably housed in the first space block and the second space block; a contactor capable of contacting the first terminal and the second terminal; and a rotating shaft that integrally couples the contactor and the fixed component, is rotatably supported by one of the first mold and the second mold, and is capable of connecting the first terminal and the second terminal by rotating the contactor.

Disclosed herein is a control element, which can be arranged on a capacitive surface, for controlling a function of the capacitive surface, comprising a carrier structure, a rotary element rotatable about an axis of rotation with respect to the carrier structure, comprising at least one electrically conductive area, at least one electrically conductive contact element arranged on the carrier structure, wherein the contact element comprises a contact area which is arranged at least in some areas on an underside of the control element, so that the contact area, when the control element is arranged on the capacitive surface, is arranged at least partially touching the capacitive surface, wherein the electrically conductive area of the rotary element is in contact with a contact element in at least one rotational position of the rotary element. The rotary element can be moved along the axis of rotation with respect to the carrier structure.

CONTROL ELEMENT AND SYSTEM FOR CONTROLLING A FUNCTION ON A CAPACITIVE SURFACE

Disclosed herein is a control element, which can be arranged on a capacitive surface, for controlling a function of the capacitive surface, comprising a carrier structure, a rotary element rotatable about an axis of rotation with respect to the carrier structure, comprising at least one electrically conductive area, at least one electrically conductive contact element arranged on the carrier structure, wherein the contact element comprises a contact area which is arranged at least in some areas on an underside of the control element, so that the contact area, when the control element is arranged on the capacitive surface, is arranged at least partially touching the capacitive surface, wherein the electrically conductive area of the rotary element is in contact with a contact element in at least one rotational position of the rotary element. The rotary element can be moved along the axis of rotation with respect to the carrier structure.

An example rotary switch includes a substrate and a plurality of electrical contacts supported by the substrate. The rotary switch includes a resistor network of a plurality of resistors in electrical communication with the plurality of electrical contacts and a commutator that moves relative to the substrate along the plurality of electrical contacts. The commutator electrically connects a pair of adjacent electrical contacts so as to modify an output voltage of the rotary switch corresponding to a position of the rotary switch. Each resistor of the resistor network is positioned so as to electrically connect a respective pair of adjacent electrical contacts. Each resistor in the resistor network comprises a resistance value that is different from resistance values of other resistors in the resistor network.

A control assembly for an oven that includes an actuator configured to select a function of an oven and to generate an electrical signal identifying the function of the oven selected, and a control unit in communication with the actuator configured to receive the electrical signal generated and identify from the electrical signal the function of the oven selected. The control assembly also includes a rotary position switch configured to be positioned in a plurality of discrete positions, one of the discrete positions being a reference position, so that in each of the positions the rotary position switch activates at least one function of the oven and in the reference position the rotary position switch does not activate any function of the oven. The control device further includes an electric motor configured to rotate the rotary position switch and position it in one of the discrete positions, the control unit being configured to actuate the electric motor until the rotary position switch is positioned in the position corresponding to the selected function.
