Input device
An input device has a first electrode, a second electrode, and a third electrode. The second electrode opposes to the first electrode while being spaced apart therefrom. The third electrode is spaced apart from the first electrode and rotatably or slidably provided relative to the second electrode. By the third electrode being brought into contact with or spaced apart from the second electrode, an electrical state between the first electrode and the second electrode changes. Based on this electrical change, a rotary manipulation or a slide manipulation is detected.

Electrically insulative case including frame having plurality of possible orientations
An electrically insulative case for an electrical device includes a housing defining an interior space. The electrically insulative case also includes a frame operatively coupleable to the housing in a plurality of orientations. The frame defines at least one opening that provides access to the electrical device. An inner sidewall of the frame extends into the interior space. The electrically insulative case further includes a restrictor coupleable to the electrical device such that the restrictor extends adjacent to the frame. The restrictor is arranged to inhibit objects from moving from an exterior of said housing into the interior space.
Sterile handle control mechanism
A surgical light including a light housing having at least one light source therein and a handle assembly extending from the light housing, with the handle assembly including a knob and a cover. The handle assembly is rotatably connected to the light housing. The cover covers the knob. Engaging the cover in a first mode and rotating the knob alters a first characteristic of light emitted from the at least one light source. Engaging the cover in a second mode and rotating the knob alters a second characteristic of light emitted from the at least one light source.

ROTARY ENCODER
A rotary encoder includes a shaft and an encoder mechanism that holds the shaft in a rotatably inserted state and detects a rotation direction and a rotation angle of the shaft. The encoder mechanism includes a substrate that rotatably holds the shaft, an insulator portion and a resistor portion provided on one surface of the substrate and alternately provided in the rotation direction of the shaft, a rotor attached to the shaft so as to be integrally rotatable with the shaft, and a slider that is attached to the rotor and alternately slidably contacts the insulator portion and the resistor portion by rotation of the shaft. The insulator portion includes a base material made of a resin, spherical silica, and a fluororesin filler.
ELECTRONIC-COMPONENT-PROTECTION STRUCTURE AND SWITCH DEVICE
An electronic-component-protection structure which can protect, with a simple configuration, an electronic component from static electricity that may be charged in a case member. A ground member having conductivity is integrally formed with a circuit board or electrically connected to the circuit board, wherein the circuit board has an electronic component mounted thereon. A housing includes a base member and a case member and accommodates the circuit board and a ground member. A sealing member, which is a conductive elastic member disposed between the base member and the case member, is at least partly exposed to the outside of the housing.
