In-line switch assembly
An in-line switch assembly comprising a housing and two ports at different parts of the housing for insertion of an end of a power cord into the housing. The housing has first and second housing parts. A connection mechanism is provided in each of the ports, adapted to receive an end of a power cord, and is operable to cause piercing of a piercing part through a sheath of a power cord and then electrical contact with a conductive core of the power cord. The housing is configured to undergo from a first state in which the first and second housing parts are partially attached together, thereby allowing insertion of an end of a power cord through each of the ports to the respective connection mechanism, to a second state in which the first and second housing parts are fully attached together, with an inserted end of a said power cord being acted upon by the connection mechanism.
SWITCH DEVICE
A switch device includes an operating knob on which a tilting operation is performed, a detected portion that tilts with the tilting operation of the operating knob, a detection portion that detects movement of the detected portion, and a substrate on which the detection portion is arranged. The detection portion is aligned in an in-plane direction of the substrate and performs a switching operation upon detection of movement of the detected portion in the in-plane direction.
SEESAW TYPE OPERATION UNIT USED FOR ZOOMING OPERATION IN VIDEO CAMERA AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE
A seesaw type operation unit having a new configuration is provided. A swinging member is capable of swinging in a predetermined direction with a rotation axis at a center. An urging member urges the swinging member to a neutral position. A detector includes a rotating portion which is arranged coaxially with the rotation axis and rotates integrally with the swinging member, and outputs a signal depending on a rotation amount of the rotating portion. An operating member receives an operation from an outside and causes the swinging member to rotate in the predetermined direction by the operation. A supporting member rotatably and coaxially supports the swinging member and the operating member. In a case where the operating member is rotated in the predetermined direction, the operating member pushes an end of the swinging member to rotate the operating member, the swinging member, and the rotating portion integrally with one another.

Button assembly
A button assembly is disposed in a rocker. The button assembly including a base, a pressure sensor and a keycap. The base has two lower pivoting portions with each of the two lower pivoting portions protruding outwardly from respective sides of the base. The pressure sensor is mounted on the base. The keycap overlies the pressure sensor. The keycap has two upper pivoting portions with each of the two upper pivoting portions protruding outwardly from respective sides of the keycap. The two lower pivoting portions are pivoted with the two upper pivoting portions to allow the two upper pivoting portions to be rotatable relative to the two lower pivoting portions. As described above, a push-button structure is thus formed by the two lower pivoting portions and the two upper pivoting portions configured among the base, the pressure sensor and the keycap to achieve the modularization of the button assembly.

Varistor type multi-directional input device
A varistor type multi-directional input device, including an upper cover, a base, a rocker assembly, a reset assembly, an electrical component, a switch elastic piece and a terminal assembly. The conductive elastic piece of the electrical component is mounted in a cavity surrounded by the upper cover, the base and the varistor. The rocking bar is operated to swing the eccentric wheel of the upper rocker arm or the lower rocker arm, and the surface pressure of the varistor is different due to the different deformation of elastic piece caused by the change of the height of the eccentric wheel in the axial direction, so that the varistor outputs different resistance values to achieve control of the screen cursor. The present disclosure is provided with a rocker arm seat which is matched with the upper rocker arm and the lower rocker arm.
