AUTO INJECTOR WITH AUTOMATIC RIGID NEEDLE SHIELD REMOVER
An auto injector for delivery of a medicament is disclosed. The auto injector comprises a housing, a syringe holder configured to receive a syringe; a first drive module adapted to move the syringe holder relatively to the housing; and a rigid needle shield remover comprising a first part adapted for separating a rigid needle shield from the syringe.
AUTO INJECTOR WITH CASSETTE
A cassette for use in an auto injector for administering a medicament, the cassette comprises a syringe compartment containing the medicament; a hollow needle in fluid connection with the syringe compartment; a rigid needle shield connected to the syringe compartment and covering the hollow needle; a stopper movable inside the syringe compartment; a syringe holder extending around at least part of the syringe compartment; a rigid needle shield holder having a first part positioned between the rigid needle shield and the proximal end of the syringe compartment, and a cassette skin sensor. Also disclosed is the auto injector.
ELECTRONIC ADD-ON MODULE FOR INJECTION DEVICES
Implementations relate to an electronic add-on module releasably attachable to an injection device prior to injection, a sensor element for detecting a state or process in the injection device, a processor element for evaluating and/or processing a signal of the sensor element, and an energy store for supplying the processor element with energy. The add-on module has a first module part, which is connectable along its longitudinal axis to the injection device in an axially fixed manner by means of a holding mechanism. A second module part is movable for a damped relative movement, such as a deceleration or braking movement, by a delay stoke with respect to the first module part connected to the injection device. By damping a relative movement between two module parts, the force transmission between the add-on module and the injection device is controlled and a maximum force surge is limited to the injection device.
AUTOMATIC INJECTION SYSTEM
An automatic injection device is provided, where the device includes a syringe carrier and a retraction assembly. The syringe carrier includes two identical parts that are discrete from one another and interlock with one another. The retraction assembly includes a shuttle and a follower, the follower having a moveable latch. The follower has a coupled configuration in which the latch is biasedly coupled to the shuttle, and a decoupled configuration in which the latch is in sliding engagement with a curvilinear surface of the shuttle.
Cartridge holder of an injection device
The present disclosure relates to a cartridge holder of an injection device, the cartridge holder comprising a tubular shaped elongated sleeve extending in an axial direction to accommodate a cartridge filled with a medicament, wherein the sleeve (29) comprises: a proximal connecting end to connect with a distal connecting end of a body of the injection device, which body is configured to accommodate a drive mechanism of the injection device and which drive mechanism is operably engageable with a piston of the cartridge, a flange section extending radially outwardly from an outside surface of the sleeve and having a proximally facing abutment face to axially abut with a distal end face of the distal connecting end of the body, at least three protrusions located distally from the flange section, extending radially outwardly from the outside surface of the sleeve and being distributed around the circumference of the sleeve.
Drive Train for Dial of a Torsion-Spring Assisted Wind-Up Injection Device
A drive train for a wind-up injection device, comprises a torsional energy storage adapted to be loaded or unloaded by a rotatable element, a rotatable user handle coupled with a button, a rotationally drivable expelling mechanism, and a clutch element coupled with the torsional energy storage via the rotatable element and comprising a ratchet for maintaining the rotatable element at one of a number of discrete angular positions, wherein via the rotatable element, the clutch element is adapted to transmit a torque from the user handle to the torsional energy storage or from the torsional energy storage to the expelling mechanism, and wherein the ratchet is switchable from one position to an adjacent position by a torque transmitted from the user handle to the torsional energy storage, and wherein the drive train is adapted to dampen torque peaks by a flexible impact portion in the area of the clutch element.
MEDICAL INJECTION SYSTEM
A medical injection system comprising an injection module, a retract module, and a bi-directional dose setting module. The bi-directional dose setting module comprises a dose plate, and the injection module comprises a dose knob engaged with the dose plate. The medical injection system generates a first response when the dose knob is rotated in the first direction, and generates a second response when the dose knob is rotated in the second direction.
INJECTOR
An injector including a syringe arranged along a longitudinal axis, a removable cover for removable engagement with the syringe and a cover removal assembly including an outer portion which is engagable by a user and is movable axially in a cover disengagement direction along an axial travel path with respect to the longitudinal axis and an inner portion which includes at least one engagement portion which is engagable with the removable cover, whereby axial movement of the inner portion in the cover disengagement direction removes the removable cover from the syringe, at least one of the outer portion and the inner portion being configured such as to provide an axially floating lost motion engagement between the outer portion and the inner portion.
Support structure
The present application relates to an intermediate structure for a support structure of a medicament delivery device, which support structure is to cooperate with a medicament container, said support structure comprising a flexible element arranged to exert a force on a distal end surface of said medicament container, wherein said intermediate structure is arranged between said flexible element and said end surface and arranged to guide said flexible element in an outwardly direction in relation to a longitudinal axis (L) when exerting a force on said medicament container.
Medicament Container Holder
The present invention relates to a medicament container holder (10) comprising a body (12) adapted to receive a medicament container (14), the body (12) comprising proximally directed tongues (38) at its proximal end, engagement elements (42) arranged at the proximal end of the tongues (38), directed inwards, which engagement elements (42) are arranged to engage a neck portion (46) of the medicament container (14); wherein the tongues (38) deflect radially outwards when engaged by a needle shield (16) of said medicament container (14). The invention is characterized in that said tongues (38) with said engagement elements (42), engage with said neck portion (46) of said medicament container (14) for preventing the medicament container (14) from moving in a proximal direction relative the medicament container holder (10), when disengaged with said needle shield, wherein said tongues (38) are in a stressed state when in engagement with said neck portion (46).
