ROTATION OPERATION INPUT DEVICE AND ELECTRONIC APPARATUS THAT ACHIEVE BOTH DOWNSIZING AND GOOD OPERATION FEELING
A rotation operation input device that achieve downsizing and excellent durability while offering clear and good operation feeling. The rotation operation input device comprises detected portions which is provided concentrically with a rotation operation member about a rotation axis and rotates along with rotation of the rotation operation member, and a detection unit which detects the detected portions and a phase of the rotation operation member. The detected portions are provided at a predetermined interval along an outer edge of the rotation operation member, this outer edge is provided with a recess/protrusion part, the recess/protrusion part has recess parts each positioned between the detected portions and protrusion parts each positioned on each straight line connecting each detected portion and the rotation axis, and an urging member that urges the recess/protrusion part is provided on a side opposite to the detected portions across the recess/protrusion part.
Elastomeric joystick assembly
The present invention provides, in some aspects, a rugged and inexpensive joystick assembly comprising a core configured to manipulate a series of switches and located by an elastomeric overlay. The elastomeric overlay can include a tactile surface for a user, a water-resistant coating for a switch panel and a flex-wall disposed between the tactile surface and switch panel coating. The elastomeric overlay can be configured to positively locate the joystick core relative to the switch panel and provide a water-tight seal. The thickness, width and hardness of the flex-wall can be tuned to provide adequate locating strength and resistance to wear.
CONTROL BUTTON ASSEMBLY FOR MEDIA PLAYBACK DEVICE
A system is provided for streaming media content in a vehicle. The system includes a personal media streaming appliance system configured to connect to a media delivery system and receive media content from the media delivery system at least via a cellular network. The personal media streaming appliance system operates to transmit a media signal representative to the received media content to a vehicle media playback system so that the vehicle media playback system operates to play the media content in the vehicle.

Remote control
A remote control is provided. The remote control includes a housing, a fixing part installed in a keyway disposed at the housing and a determination piece and a direction piece which are installed on the fixing part. A direction key, a determination key and a program writing piece each extending to the fixing part are installed in the housing. The program writing piece is provided with a first through-hole through which the determination key extends to the fixing part. The fixing part is further provided with a second through-hole through which the direction key extends and a third through-hole through which the program writing piece extends.
REMOTE CONTROL
A remote control is provided. The remote control includes a housing, a fixing part installed in a keyway disposed at the housing and a determination piece and a direction piece which are installed on the fixing part. A direction key, a determination key and a program writing piece each extending to the fixing part are installed in the housing. The program writing piece is provided with a first through-hole through which the determination key extends to the fixing part. The fixing part is further provided with a second through-hole through which the direction key extends and a third through-hole through which the program writing piece extends.

Handle switch for vehicle
A handle switch for use on a vehicle includes a plurality of switches for operating electric devices on a vehicle. The handle switch is mounted on a switch case fixed to a handlebar of the motorcycle, wherein the plurality of switches include a composite switch having a plurality of operating directions and other switches having less operating directions than the composite switch. The composite switch is disposed on the switch in a position closer to a center of a vehicle body, and the other switches are disposed in a position between a handle grip fixed to an end of the handlebar and the composite switch. The composite switch has an operating portion is directed rearwardly of the vehicle body. The operating portion of the composite switch includes a four-way switch as a plural-direction operator projects rearwardly of the vehicle body.
Input device
An input device is provided which is configured such that no matter which position on an operation surface is pushed, the detection sensitivity of the pushing load is suppressed from varying due to different operation positions on the operation surface. An input device includes a first pressing member, a second pressing member, and a substrate. The first pressing member has an operation surface and a first axis and is tiltable around the first axis by the operation surface being pushed. The second pressing member has a second shaft and is tiltable around the second shaft by being pushed by a tilt of the first pressing member. The substrate includes at least one pressure sensor which is to be pushed by the second pressing member. A position of the first axis in the first pressing member is variable in accordance with a pushed position on the operation surface.
Multidirectional switch device
A multidirectional switch device includes an assembled structure of a plurality of members, which include a user-operable button, and a holder that supports the assembled structure. The multidirectional switch device also includes a set of axial recesses and a set of axial projections that define a pivot axis about which the button pivots relative to the holder. The pivot axis is arranged to allow the holder to cooperate with the assembled structure for operation of the button in multiple directions. The holder includes one of the set of axial recesses and the set of axial projections. One of the members of the assembled structure other than the button includes the other one of the set of axial recesses and the set of axial projections.
