Safety Switch
A safety switch (2) with a latching unit (12), by means of which an associated actuator (3) is held in a latched position. The latching unit (12) has an opening (9) and a blocking element. In a latched position, the blocking element projects into the opening (9) and rear-engages an actuator head (8) of the actuator (3), which is in the latched position. The blocking element is held in the latched position by means of a positioning element with a setting force. When the actuator head (8) is inserted into or removed from the opening (9), the actuator head (8) pivots the blocking element out against the setting force.
Guard door monitoring system
A guard door monitoring system comprising a guard door monitoring module for monitoring a state of a guard door to a safety area. The guard door monitoring system also comprises a control unit, configured to analyze a guard door signal generated by interaction between an actuator and a sensor, and to control a machine or system located in the safety area depending on the guard door signal. A locking device with a main body and a locking lever arranged on the main body is additionally provided. The locking lever can be moved relative to the main body from a release position into a blocking position in which the locking lever prevents the interaction between the actuator and the sensor, wherein the locking device comprises a receptacle for a lockable securing part, which, when introduced into the receptacle, keeps the locking lever in the blocking position.
Safety switch with lock-out device
A safety switch with a lock-out device including a switching unit, switching elements and actuating elements. The switching elements and the actuating elements are electronic and are respectively associated with a first communication element and a second communication element adapted to remote communicating therebetween by a signal and to allow the switching elements to discriminate the presence of an operating unit close to the switching unit. The switching unit includes a movable guard having a shielding element adapted to interpose itself between the communication elements when the guard is into the active position to avoid the transmission of the signal and the closing of the switching elements.
SAFETY APPARATUS, SYSTEM AND PROCESS
Safety apparatus comprising a safety switch and an actuator designed to be associated with a movable guard and to interact with each other upon the opening and closing of said movable guard. The safety switch comprises switching means designed to turn between an active state and an inactive state, a locking mechanism for locking the actuator in contact with the safety switch, a control unit connected to the locking mechanism and to the switching means for controlling the same. The safety switch also comprises a main reset member for transmitting a main reset signal to the control unit.
Actuator of a safety switch and safety switch having such an actuator
The invention relates to an actuator (1) of a safety switch (10) for detecting and locking a specifiable state of an apparatus (2), in particular for detecting and locking the closed state of a safety device of a machine (4) or the like, wherein the actuator (1) has an inductor (36) for a contact-free signal exchange with a reading inductor (38) of a switch element (16) of the safety switch (10), and wherein the actuator (1) has a locking flank (50) on which a lock element (24) of the switch element (16) can be brought into locking contact and the actuator (1) can therefore be locked on the switch element (16), characterized in that the inductor (36) has at least one winding extending around the locking flank (50) or around a recess or hole in the actuator (1) forming the locking flank (50) so that the at least one winding extends around the lock element (24) or around an extension of the lock element (24) in the state in which the actuator (1) is locked to the switch element (16), as well as a safety switch having such an actuator.
SAFETY SWITCH FOR ACCESS CONTROL
A safety switch for controlling the access to industrial machines or plants comprises a switching device (2) housing switching means and an actuator device (3) having an operating pin (8) to interact with the switching means upon the opening/closing of the access, a locking/unlocking mechanism (14) housed in the switching device (2) and provided with a locking pin (15) movable between a locking position and an unlocking position of the access, an operating pin (8) associated with the actuator device (3) to interact with the locking pin (15) to hold the actuator device (3) fastened to said switching device (2), which, in turn, houses a locking element with controlled deformation, mechanically connected to the locking pin (15) and sized to deform plastically upon the application on the locking pin (15) of a deformation stress higher than a predetermined threshold value.
