A syringe system includes a syringe and a pressurization device for a syringe. The pressurization device for a syringe is configured so that the plunger advances by a forward rotation of the plunger, and the plunger retracts by a reverse rotation of the plunger. The plunger is advanceable by pressing the gasket at the time of the forward rotation and is retractable with respect to the barrel without pulling the gasket in the proximal end direction at the time of the reverse rotation.

A drug delivery device configured to provide a dose of a first medicament followed by a dose of a second medicament is disclosed. The device includes a main exterior body and an interior body. The device further includes a dual-chamber reservoir with (i) a first chamber holding the first medicament and (ii) a second chamber holding the second medicament. The device also includes a needle and a plunger. After activation of the device, the plunger is configured to (i) move the dual-chamber reservoir a given distance in a distal direction with respect to the interior body so that a distal end of the needle extends out of the interior body and (ii) after moving the dual-chamber reservoir the given distance, move in the distal direction with respect to the dual-chamber reservoir so as to eject from the needle the first medicament followed by the second medicament.

A medicine administration system includes a medicine administration device, a medicine cartridge receivable with the medicine administration device, and a contrast background. The medicine cartridge is configured to retain medicine therein. The medicine administration device is configured to dispense at least some of the medicine through a dispensing end of the medicine cartridge. The contrast background is positioned relative to the medicine cartridge to permit visualization of the contrast background through the medicine within the medicine cartridge. The contrast background is configured to facilitate image processing of a captured image of the contrast background through the medicine within the medicine cartridge to determine a condition of the medicine within the medicine cartridge.

An injection device for setting and injecting of a dose of a medicament includes: an acoustic feedback arrangement comprising: a first feedback element having a first engaging section and having a free end section located at a predetermined distance from the first engaging section, a second feedback element having a second engaging section configured to engage with the first engaging section, wherein the first feedback element is movable, pivotable or resiliently deformable along a first direction (d1) relative to the second feedback element from an initial state (i) towards a biased state (b), and a sound generator formed by the first engaging section or audibly engageable with the free end section of the first feedback element.

A device for extracting a fluid from an ampoule, comprising a plunger body (2) arranged for enclosing an ampoule (3), and a syringe body (4) movable relative to the plunger body (2). The piston member (6) comprises an insertion end (10), receivable within the plunger body (2) and arranged for insertion in the ampoule (3), an ejection end (12) attached to the outer tubular casing (8), and a lumen (14) extending between the insertion end (10) and the ejection end (12). An assembly for a drug delivery device comprises a housing, a dose member which is displaceable in a proximal direction with respect to the housing for setting of a dose of a drug, a clutch member which is displaced in the proximal direction with respect to the housing when setting the dose, and a stop member configured to define a clutch stop position. The clutch member and the dose member are configured to mechanically cooperate with one another when the clutch member is in the clutch stop position, thereby preventing further displacement of the dose member in the proximal direction with respect to the housing during setting of the dose.
