A magnetic sensing switch includes switch body having a hollow tube and an opening. A magnetic reed switch is disposed in the tube and includes two conductive points. The plug having an elastic clamping force is fixed in the opening by interference fit. The plug including a sealant injection portion and a retaining portion communicating with the tube. The two wires are inserted in the tube, one end of each wire is connected to one conductive point, and the other end passes through the retaining portion to protrude out of the tube. A sealant is injected into the tube via the sealant injection portion to entirely wrap the magnetic reed switch and the wires inside the tube, and the sealant partially protrudes out of the sealant injection portion.

A person operating the pruning shears (102) produces discernible separation strokes when the handles (104) of the shears (102) are squeezed together to produce a shearing action. The stroke detector (108) detects the separation strokes of the shears (102). By the addition of the control module (108) to the pruning shears (102), the shears are essentially converted into a data logging device by means of which important aspects of a produce harvesting process can be digitised and supplied to a harvest data digital data processing system.

The upper portion and the lower portion are configured to work together to provide a signal to an EGM that the button face has been pressed. The pushbutton assembly is non-penetrating because it does not provide any penetration points through the substrate of the button deck.

The first surface 15a is located closer to the operation surface than the second surface 15b, the shield electrode 131 and the detecting electrode 14 constitute a pressure-sensitive sensor that detects a change in capacitance value caused by approaching of the shield electrode 131 and the detecting electrode 14, and the shield electrode 131 blocks capacitive coupling between an operator FIN and the detecting electrode 14 caused by approaching of the operator FIN to the operation surface.
