Push switch

A push switch includes a vertically arranged reed switch, a hollow case disposed to surround the reed switch, an annular first magnet fixedly disposed on the lower side in the case to surround the reed switch and magnetized in the axial direction, an annular second magnet disposed to be axially movable on the upper side in the case to surround the reed switch and magnetized in a direction opposite to the first magnet, and a pushing member mounted to the second magnet to move the second magnet to an operating position close to the first magnet at the time of downward operation. The case is positioned so that in a non-operating state, the pushing member is not pressed down within the case. The contact point of the reed switch comes at the center between the first magnet and the second magnet in the axial direction.

A reed switch assembly includes a case having a receiving space formed therein, a substrate assembly seated on the case, and a cover for covering at least a portion of the substrate assembly, wherein the substrate assembly includes a printed circuit board, and a connector and a reed sensor that are electrically coupled to the printed circuit board.

Switch adapter

A switch adapter can include a base having one or more openings, a support coupled to the base, and one or more retainers for coupling a switch to the adapter. The support can have one or more openings between its interior and exterior. The retainer can be adapted to couple to at least one of the base, the support, and a combination thereof. The switch adapter can include one or more switches, such as a replacement switch, and can be adapted for replacing a limit switch with a proximity switch. A proximity switch can be coupled to a switch adapter in one or more positions, and a switch adapter can be adapted to couple with a plurality of different switch mounts. A switch adapter can include a mass compensator for adjusting its center of gravity.

Sensor for a fingerboard latch assembly

A sensor assembly is provided for a fingerboard latch assembly that comprises: a latch bracket; bolts for mounting the latch bracket to a fingerboard; a latch; and a bracket pin rotatably supporting the latch on the latch bracket to allow rotation of the latch between an open position and a closed position. The sensor assembly has a mounting arrangement that mounts to the bolts, holding a closed-position proximity sensor probe facing downwardly for sensing proximity of a crank portion of the latch and/or the piston head in the closed position, and also holding an open-position proximity sensor probe facing forwardly for sensing proximity of an arm of the latch in the open position.

Fenestration unit monitoring devices described herein are configured to retrofit an existing fenestration unit lock assembly to incorporate components that are capable of monitoring the locked or unlocked status of the existing fenestration unit lock assembly and/or the panel position status of a movable panel of the fenestration unit. The fenestration unit monitoring devices include a monitor housing configured for mounting on the surface of a frame member on which a fenestration unit lock assembly is already mounted. The monitor housing of the fenestration unit monitoring device includes a lock cavity such that a portion of the fenestration unit lock assembly is located in the lock cavity formed between the monitor housing and the surface of a frame member to which the monitor housing is mounted.

Magnetic reed switch

A magnetic reed switch, including: an insulating casing, magnetic reeds, and at least one flexible element. The insulating casing is a hollow structure. The magnetic reeds are disposed inside and at two ends of the insulating casing, respectively. Ends of the magnetic reeds overlap. The at least one flexible element is an electrically conductive material and is disposed on at least one magnetic reed. The at least one flexible element is connected in parallel to two ends of the magnetic reeds.

A 360-degree blind-angle-free position detection magnetic sensor comprising a hollow plastic box, wherein a hollow reed is transversely disposed in the plastic box, and damping springs are respectively disposed at the two ends of the hollow reed; the outer ends of the two damping springs are respectively fixedly connected with the inner walls of the two ends of the plastic box; the hollow reed is movably suspended in an inner chamber of the plastic box, and a conductive magnetic ring is sleeved on the hollow reed; a conductive column is disposed in the plastic box; the inner end of the conductive column penetrates into the hollow reed, and is matched with the hollow reed; lead wires that are electrically connected with the conductive column and the hollow reed are disposed on the plastic box.

FOUR-CONTACT MAGNETIC SWITCH APPARATUS

Switch apparatus (54), designed to detect relative movement between first and second members (60, 62), includes a switch assembly (48) comprising a switch unit (20), a biasing element (50), and an operating member (52). The unit (20) has a conductive housing (22) with first, second, and third electrical pin contacts (36-40) and a shiftable body (46). The body (46) is magnetically correlated with both the element (50) and operating member (52). When the members (60, 62) are close, the operating member (52) maintains the shiftable body (46) in one switch position, whereas when the members (60, 62) are separated, the biasing element (50) magnetically moves body (46) to another switch position, thereby detecting the relative movement).
