Disinfecting syringe tip
12390629 · 2025-08-19 · ·

A disinfection tip is described for disinfecting a threaded connector of a syringe. The disinfection tip includes a cylindrical outer housing, a substantially cylindrical inner housing extending from a distal wall of the outer housing, a distal chamber defined by the outer sidewall of the inner housing, the inner wall of the outer housing and the distal wall of the outer housing, the distal chamber being in fluid communication with the cavity, the distal chamber retaining a disinfectant or antimicrobial agent when the disinfection tip is disposed within an outer wall of the luer connector of the syringe and, at least one jet orifice radially disposed on the inner rim in fluid communication with the distal chamber allowing for fluid to pass from the distal chamber through the jet orifice directing the disinfectant or antimicrobial agent towards a center of the outer housing when the disinfection tip is further inserted into the luer connector of the syringe, the insertion of the disinfection tip causing the volume of the distal chamber to reduce and expel disinfectant or antimicrobial agent through the at least one jet orifice.

Device for administering a fluid

A device for administering a fluid can include a cylinder, a piston connected to a piston rod, and a tensioning device connected to the piston rod. The tensioning device includes a ramp which is rotatable via a motor, a ramp track, and a roller which is in contact with the ramp track and which is mounted rotatably in a driver. The driver can be connected to the piston rod via a joint. In a tensioning procedure, the ramp track is rotated such that the roller runs on the region of inclination as far as the second plateau and the piston is thereby moved to its rear end position. In a dispensing procedure, the ramp track is rotated until the roller runs over a transfer region and, on account of the tensioning, is accelerated toward the first plateau and, as a result, the piston is moved toward the an dispensing end.

An apparatus for injectate delivery includes a cartridge, a linear actuator, a rotary motor mechanically coupled the actuator, and a controller coupled to the motor. The controller controls a linear motion of the actuator by controlling an electrical input supplied to the motor in a first interval during which the motor is stationary with the linear actuator engaged with the cartridge to displace an injectate in the cartridge, a second interval following the first interval during which the controller accelerates the motor from stationary to a first speed selected to create a jet of the injectate from the cartridge with a velocity sufficient to pierce human tissue to a subcutaneous depth, a third interval during which the controller maintains the motor at or above the first speed, and a fourth interval during which the controller decelerates the motor to a second speed to deliver the injectate at the subcutaneous depth.

SAFETY SYRINGE CAPABLE OF BEING USED FOR NEEDLE-FREE DOSING INJECTION

A safety syringe includes a needle seat, an adapter disposed on the needle seat, and an injection barrel penetrated into the needle seat and the adapter. When an outer sleeve is located at a first position, a first annular rib of the outer sleeve is engaged with a flange of the adapter, such that the needle seat protrudes from the front end of the outer sleeve. A push rod penetrated into the injection barrel is used to take in and expel liquid medicine. When the outer sleeve is located at a second position, the outer sleeve accommodates the needle seat and the adapter therein and pushes against the flange of the adapter through a second annular rib, such that the outer sleeve is detachable from the injection barrel together with the needle seat and the adapter. The injection barrel can be used for needle-free dosing injection.

Needleless syringe having multi-nozzle and manufacturing method therefor

The present disclosure relates to a needleless syringe having a multi-nozzle which includes an upper housing defining a chamber for containing a pressure-generating liquid and including a pressure-generating unit at an upper portion of the upper housing, a lower housing configured to contain a drug solution and coupled to a lower portion of the upper housing, an elastic membrane disposed between the upper housing and the lower housing to separate the pressure-generating liquid from the drug solution, an outer chamber attached to a lower portion of the lower housing and having an insertion portion in fluid communication with an interior of the lower housing, an inner chamber inserted into the insertion portion, the inner chamber having a plurality of branch grooves on an outer surface of the inner chamber, and a plurality of injection nozzles coupled to a lower portion of the inner chamber.

Instrument, instrument head, application system and method

An instrument with a first conduit for emitting a first fluid from a first opening of the first conduit in an axial direction into a reacceleration zone and with a second conduit for channeling of a second fluid in the reacceleration zone in the axial direction is provided such that active ingredient components, e.g. cells, of the second fluid are reaccelerated in the axial direction as a result of a flow in the reacceleration zone by means of the first fluid that enters the reacceleration zone. A coaxial configuration of the first and the second conduit is preferred, because in doing so, around the first opening a shell jet of the second fluid can be created that flows downstream in the axial direction around a central working jet. In addition, a head for an inventive instrument and an application system with an inventive instrument is provided.
