APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR POWERING A COIL OF LATCHING RELAYS AND HYBRID SWITCHES
Apparatus and method for latching one pole contact of at least one springy pole in a relay or hybrid switch for maintaining an engaging or disengaging state of at least one first contact with said pole contact by a mechanical latching device comprising a springy lock pin exerting minute force, a slider with indentation path for guiding the lock pin and a track for the slider, the latching device extends from an armature or the springy pole to a base or a body of the relay or the hybrid switch, said springy pole is guided by said slider movement propelled by one of a pull by a voltage rated magnetic coil fed by a pulse of said rated voltage and a push by a plunger, and for operating a stronger coil for switching higher electrical current the magnetic coil is fed with at least one discharge higher voltage to increase the magnetic pull power of the coil.
Method and apparatus for controlling circuit breaker operation
A method of controlling a circuit breaker that has a movable contact and an actuator for moving the movable contact between an open position and a closed position. With the movable contact in the open position, a voltage is applied to the actuator to cause the movable contact to move towards the closed position. The voltage is applied for a limited time period ending before the movable contact reaches the closed position. At the end of the limited time period, the voltage is adjusted to reduce the acceleration exerted on the contact. The voltage is subsequently increased just before, after, or substantially at the same time as the contact reaches its closed position.
Control device for power supply time of timers
A control device for power supply time of timers comprises an alternative current (AC) power source input module, a direct current (DC) power source supply module, an AC power source output module electrically connected to a load end, a relay, a central control module, a relay driver circuit, a day/night detecting module, a power supply time backward display light set, a power supply time forward display light set, a power supply time backward selection control button and a power supply time forward selection control button. Herein, by pressing the power supply time backward selection control button or the power supply time forward selection control button, one of the power supply time backward display lights or the power supply time forward display lights can be turned on such that the central control module can, based on the sunset time of the previous day as well as the configured power supply backward setting time or power supply forward setting time, postpone or advance the power supply time for the load end in the next day, and then record the sunset time of the next day so as to control the power supply time for the load end in the further next day.
CONTROL APPARATUS
A control apparatus includes a processor that determines whether an ice generation condition is satisfied on the basis of at least one or both of a state of a heat source of a vehicle and an outside air temperature after an operation stop of a drive source of the vehicle. If the ice generation condition is satisfied, the processor repeats an ice-crushing operation at a predetermined time interval in a predetermine ice-crushing time period by turning on and thereafter turning off the relay. The predetermined ice-crushing time period is determined on the basis of a temperature difference between a temperature of the fixed contact or the movable contact of the relay and a temperature of an internal atmosphere inside the relay. The predetermined time interval is a time period in which the ice on the fixed contact and the movable contact of the relay grows to a predetermined size.
Semi-wireless electric switch system
A semi-wireless electric switch system controls power to electrical fixtures by multiplexing to remote solid state relays installed in the wiring junction of the fixtures. A mobile application is provided which may be downloaded and installed on the user's smartphone, tablet, laptop, or other electronic device. The application may be used to control the switch system. Wall switches are replaced by small flat-screen visual displays with touchscreen capability, which enable an installation technician to install additional lights, wall outlets, and other fixtures using existing wiring. Each relay has a preprogrammed three-digit code prefix, and receives and executes a simple digital command to turn on or turn off power to the fixture through the existing wiring.
