CONTACTOR WITH MULTI-GAP ACTUATOR
A contactor includes a housing having a cavity with fixed contacts received in the cavity and a movable contact movable within the cavity to mate to the fixed contacts and unmate from the fixed contacts. The movable contact electrically connecting the fixed contacts in the mated position. A mating gap is formed between the movable contact and the fixed contacts when the movable contact is unmated from the fixed contacts. The contactor includes an actuator operably coupled to the movable contact to move the movable contact within the cavity relative to the fixed contacts. The actuator includes a primary coil assembly and a secondary coil assembly. The primary coil assembly is operable to move the movable contact. The secondary coil assembly is operable independently from the primary coil assembly to change a length of the mating gap.

A relay includes a fixed terminal, a fixed contact connected to the fixed terminal, a movable contact piece facing the fixed terminal, a movable contact, a drive unit including a coil and an armature operated by electromagnetic force generated from the coil, a card, and a wall disposed between the armature and the card. The movable contact is connected to the movable contact piece and faces the fixed contact. The card is disposed between the drive unit and the movable contact piece, and transmits an operation of the armature to the movable contact piece. The card includes a card body, a contact part, and a protrusion. The card body is disposed between the wall and a movable contact piece. The contact part extends from the card body toward the armature. The protrusion protrudes from the card body toward the wall and is disposed on a side of the contact part.
High voltage latching relay with manual actuator
A latching relay includes first and second coils and a common plunger operatively connected therebetween such that activation of the first coil moves the plunger in a first direction and activation of the second coil moves the plunger in a second direction, opposite the first direction, the first and second directions lying in a first plane. A limit switch includes a common contact and first and second coil contacts, where a position of the common contact is alternately switched between electrical connection to either the first or second coil contact based on a position of the plunger. A slide toggle accessible by a user is operatively connected to the plunger and slideable together with the plunger such that actuation of the slide toggle by the user causes manual actuation of the plunger. The slide toggle is slideable in a second plane parallel to the first plane.
Ferromagnetic part for an electromagnetic contact, its manufacturing process and its use
A new method for manufacturing a ferromagnetic part for an electromagnetic contactor, the ferromagnetic part having both particularly high impact mechanical durability, good ferromagnetic properties and good corrosion resistance, while integrating a non-magnetic gap. The method includes the following successive steps: a step a) of supplying a soft ferromagnetic metal blank part; and a step b) of electroless nickel plating at least one section of the blank part in order to obtain the ferromagnetic part, the section of which is surface coated with a nickel surface layer, with the obtained ferromagnetic part including the soft ferromagnetic metal, which, for at least one electroless nickel plated section, is disposed under the nickel surface layer.
MECHANICAL OPERATING ASSEMBLY FOR A BISTABLE RELAY AND A BISTABLE RELAY ASSEMBLY
The present invention relates to a mechanical operating assembly for a bistable relay and a bistable relay assembly. The mechanical operating assembly comprises: an actuating mechanism mounted to a bracket, including an actuating member and a first transmitting member which is connected to a paddle, the actuating member is movable between an initial position in which the actuating member is not in contact with the first transmitting member and an actuating position, when the actuating member moves from the initial position to the actuating position, the actuating member contacts the first transmitting member; a reset mechanism mounted to the bracket, including a reset member and a second transmitting member which is in contact with the first transmitting member, the reset member is movable between an initial position and a reset position, the reset member contacts the second transmitting member when moving from the initial position to the reset position.
RELAY CONTACTOR DUAL LINEAR ACTUATOR MODULE SYSTEM
A relay contactor is provided and includes input and output leads, a shaft assembly, an actuator and first and second bearing assemblies. The shaft assembly includes a shaft, a plate disposed on the shaft and an elastic element. The shaft and the plate are movable between an open position at which the plate is displaced from the input and output leads and a closed position at which the plate contacts the input and output leads. The actuator is coupled to the shaft at a first side of the plate and is configured to selectively move the shaft and the plate into the closed position in opposition to bias applied by the elastic element. The first and second bearing assemblies are disposed to movably support the shaft at the first side and at a second side of the plate, respectively.
Switching arrangement
A switch assembly comprises a plurality of contacts, a switch including a contact bridge and an armature connected to the contact bridge, and a switch status detector positioned remotely and electrically isolated from the switch. The switch has an open position in which the contacts are electrically separated from one another and a closed position in which the contacts are in electrical contact with each other through the contact bridge. The switch status detector includes an electronic oscillator coupled with a coil wrapped around a core. The switch status detector outputs an oscillating voltage that varies depending upon a position of the switch between the open position and the closed position.
Electromagnetic relay
An electromagnetic relay includes a first fixed terminal, a second fixed terminal, a movable contact piece, a movable member, a contact spring, and an electromagnet block. The movable member is configured to move in a moving direction including a first direction and a second direction. The contact spring biases the movable contact piece in the first direction. The electromagnet block includes a movable iron piece and moves the movable member in the moving direction. The movable contact piece and the contact spring are disposed in the movable member by insertion from a side opposite to a side where the electromagnet block is located. The movable member includes a first member constituted by a single member. The first member includes a press portion to be pressed by the movable iron piece in accordance with rotation of the movable iron piece, and a support portion configured to support the movable contact piece.
