CIRCUIT INTERRUPTERS WITH LOCKOUT FEATURE AND RELATED METHODS
Circuit breakers are disclosed that include a housing with a line side and a load side, a printed circuit board in the housing, a movable contact arm with an electrical contact, a stationary line side contact, a primary trip solenoid in the housing coupled to the printed circuit board, an armature in the housing, a bimetal member in the housing adjacent the armature and adjacent the primary trip solenoid; and a lockout assembly in the housing. The lockout assembly includes a rod configured to have a first inactive position and a second lockout position. When in the second position and/or as the rod travels to the second lockout position, the rod directly or indirectly pushes the armature toward the bimetal member to physically lock out the circuit breaker to prevent conduction and separate the line side contact from the movable contact arm electrical contact.
Electrical switching apparatus and guide member therefor
A guide member is for an electrical switching apparatus. The electrical switching apparatus includes a primary cover, a secondary cover structured to move between a closed position and an open position, a first printed circuit board, a second printed circuit board spaced from the first printed circuit board, and a cable member electrically connecting the first and second printed circuit boards. The guide member includes a body having a base coupled to the primary cover, a ramp engaging the cable member when the secondary cover is in the closed position, the ramp having first and second opposing end portions, the first end portion extending from the base, and a number of guide portions each extending from the ramp and engaging the cable member when the secondary cover moves between the closed position and the open position in order to minimize twisting and folding of the cable member.
Surge protector and base therof
A base of a surge protector, the surge protector comprising a function rotating member (3), and the function rotating member (3) having a remote linkage rod contact wall (3D) and a remote linkage notching (3H), and the base comprising a remote device, and the remote device having at least one remote linkage rod (9), and when the function rotating member (3) is situated at the first position, the remote linkage rod (9) is pressed down by the remote linkage rod contact wall (3D), and when the function rotating member (3) is rotated from the first position to the second position, the function rotating member (3) is rotated from the remote linkage rod contact wall (3D) to the remote linkage notching (3H) with respect to the point of action of the remote linkage rod (9) to release the remote linkage rod (9).
Remote Operated Ground Fault Circuit Breaker
A circuit interrupter electrically connects a line terminal to a load terminal in a closed condition and electrically disconnects the line terminal from the load terminal in the open condition. A controller includes a fault detector configured to detect a fault in an electrical signal in a load circuit, such that when a fault is detected on the load circuit, the fault detector causes actuation of the interrupter to the open condition. The controller is adapted to receive an off command, and in response to the off command, generate a simulated fault in the load circuit, such that the fault detector causes actuation of the interrupter to the open condition, such that one and the same interrupter is employed for both fault tripping and commanded tripping.
MOLDED CASE CIRCUIT BREAKER
The present disclosure relates to a molded case circuit breaker, and particularly, to a molded case circuit breaker having an enhanced arc protecting function. The molded case circuit breaker includes: a power side terminal portion provided at a front side of an enclosure and having a fixed contact arm; a finger assembly coupled to the fixed contact arm, and disposed on a front surface of the power side terminal portion; and a base bus supporter coupled to an upper surface and a lower surface of the power side terminal portion, and having a finger hole through which the finger assembly is exposed. The base bus supporter is provided with a protection unit configured to enclose the finger assembly around the finger hole.
ARC EXTINGUISHING UNIT OF MOLDED CASE CIRCUIT BREAKER
The present disclosure relates to an arc extinguishing device of a molded case circuit breaker which includes a fixed contactor fixedly provided on part of a base assembly case; a movable contactor brought into contact with or separated from the fixed contactor; and an arc extinguishing unit configured to extinguish an arc generated when the movable contactor is separated from the fixed contactor, and the arc extinguishing unit including a pair of side plates provided on the base assembly case; and a plurality of grids provided to have a predetermined distance between the pair of side plates, and the grid including a first grid formed with a first cutout portion on a first side surface where an arc is generated; and a second grid formed with a second cutout portion having a depth different from that of the first cutout portion on a second side surface where an arc is generated.
Signal feedback apparatus
A liquid-cooled heat dissipation apparatus includes a base (10), a telesignaling linkage member (20), a sliding plate (30) and a switch module (40). The telesignaling linkage member (20) is moveably installed on the base (10). The sliding plate (30) is installed corresponding to the telesignaling linkage member (20) and generates a movement along with the telesignaling linkage member (20). The switch module (40) includes a microswitch (41) arranged corresponding to the sliding plate (30) such that the microswitch (41) is operably opened or closed based on the movement of the sliding plate (30). Accordingly, through the opening and closing of the microswitch, the telesignaling monitoring on the functional module state can be achieved.
CIRCUIT BREAKER
A circuit breaker includes: a tripped indicator for indicating a tripping of the circuit breaker, the tripped indicator having a first pivot element mounted on a first pivot pin; and a switch lock with a pawl pivotally mounted on a pawl pin. The first pivot element is actuated by the pawl to indicate a tripped condition of the circuit breaker. The first pivot pin is arranged substantially normal to the pawl pin.
