A circuit breaker having a circuit operating device according to one embodiment of the present invention includes a circuit unit having a main circuit, a detecting unit having a detection circuit for detecting a fault current in the main circuit, and a circuit operating device configured to allow connection or isolation between the main circuit and the detection circuit, wherein the circuit operating device includes a first fixed unit and a second fixed unit connected to the main circuit and the detection circuit, respectively, and arranged in parallel to each other, and a moving unit rotatably coupled between the first fixed unit and the second fixed unit to connect or isolate the main circuit and the detection circuit to or from each other.
Circuit board enclosure with security features preventing disassembly or disengagement
A circuit board enclosure comprises a circuit breaker, platform, base, cover, and circuit board. The circuit breaker includes two conductors and a plate, which is connected to the conductors. The platform receives the circuit breaker. The base has a bottom member and an opening arranged in the bottom member. The base receives the platform with the circuit breaker such that the plate of the circuit breaker is accommodated substantially within the opening of the bottom member. The cover is configured to cover the base and form an interior space. The interior space accommodates the platform, the circuit breaker, and the circuit board. The circuit board is connected to the circuit breaker. The circuit board enclosure can be adhered to a substantially planar surface. The plate is configured such that removal of the circuit board enclosure from the substantially planar surface will damage the connection of the plate to the conductors.
ENCLOSURE FOR THE OPERATION MECHANISM OF A CIRCUIT BREAKER
An enclosure for the operating mechanism of a circuit breaker, this mechanism including a main shaft and secondary shafts, and a spring to actuate the mechanism. This enclosure includes a parallelepiped base having an open face and including a bottom wall opposite to its open face, this bottom wall having holes to receive bearings carrying the shafts; a supporting part including a main wall to be mounted at the open face of the base, the main wall including holes to receive bearings carrying the other extremities of the shafts; a cover to close the supporting part.
ELECTRIC CIRCUIT BREAKER DEVICE
An electric circuit breaker device includes a housing enclosing an accommodating space, an igniter, and a conductor piece. The housing includes a housing body that holds the conductor piece and a top housing portion provided with the igniter. The top housing portion forms, by the top housing portion being attached to a first surface of the housing body, an internal space communicating with the accommodating space and forming an end of the accommodating space, and includes a peripheral wall that defines an outer periphery of the accommodating space and is provided along the extending direction of the accommodating space, a top-side flange portion extended from a contact portion of the peripheral wall with the first surface toward an outer side of the top housing portion along the first surface, and a rib portion extended along the extending direction from an outer side edge of the top-side flange portion.
Electrical switching apparatus and strain relief assembly therefor
Electrical switching apparatus and strain relief assemblies therefor are described herein. In one exemplary, non-limiting embodiment, a strain relief assembly includes a cover and a base, each of which include a number of grooves structured to receive a number of wires. Each groove has a first side and a second side, where the second side is located opposite the first side. Furthermore, located on the first side and/or the second side are a number of protrusions. The grooves and the protrusions serve to secure the number of wires within the strain relief assembly such that, if a force is applied to an end of the wire, the protrusions work to retain the wires with the assembly.
Switching device with improved tripping action in the event of a short circuit
A switching device having an arc quenching chamber, a fixed contact element and a movable contact element movable in a sliding contact between untripped and tripped positions within the chamber. A plurality of centering structures are arranged on the walls of the arc quenching chamber for centered guiding movement of the movable contact element as it moves from its untripped position to its tripped position. The centering structures may be fabricated unitarily with the chamber walls, as of plastic, and are arranged in parallel and spaced apart relation to one another.
REMOTE SWITCH ACTUATOR WITH CONTINUOUS FEEDBACK
A remote switch actuator includes an actuator housing having a push plate coupled to a pair of actuator pins, the push plate having a first state where the push plate is disposed about an end of an actuation path and a second state where the push plate is disposed about an opposed end of the actuation path. The remote switch actuator may further include at least one sensor positioned within the actuator housing and configured to continuously detect the position of the push plate along the actuation path. The remote switch actuator may further include a switch controller communicatively coupled to the actuator housing and the at least one sensor and having a user interface configured to display the position of the push plate sensed by the at least one sensor.
Electrical protection device, distribution assembly and associated electrical panel
This electrical protection device (300) is configured to be reversibly mounted on a distribution device (110) comprising a power bus (124). The device for protecting the incoming terminals (302), connectable to the power bus, and a switching mechanism (310) with a movable contact (370) and a tripping device (372). The protection device comprises a safety mechanism (500), which comprises a support portion (502), which is movable and which is configured to be pushed back, against a return member (504), into a retracted position when the protection device is mounted on the distribution device. When the protection device is dismantled, the support portion moves and the safety device activates the tripping device (372), causing the switching mechanism to switch to an isolation configuration before each incoming terminal is disconnected from the power bus.
HANDLE OF INDUSTRIAL CUT-OFF SWITCH WITH IMPROVED SAFETY USING MULTIPLE LOCKS
The present invention relates to a handle of an industrial cut-off switch using multiple locks to improve safety, the handle being installed to actuate the industrial cut-off switch and comprising: a fixing unit formed on an outer surface of an enclosure of the industrial cut-off switch; and a rotation unit which is rotatable while covering one side of the fixing unit and is connected to a shaft unit extending from a switch unit inside the enclosure, and the rotation of which rotates the shaft unit, thereby changing the on/off state of the switch unit. The handle is provided with a plurality of locking means, and the rotation unit can rotate in one direction to the limit of the rotational range to change the switch unit to the on state when all of the provided locking means are unlocked.
