Tissue collection and delivery device and methods of use thereof
A system and method for harvesting autologous tissue, mincing it into fragments that are visible and measurable when filtered, and delivering a portion of the tissue back into the patient without the need to directly touch the tissue. During the same surgical procedure, the tissue can be mixed with a biocompatible agent before introduction into the repair site.
INTRAOCULAR GAS INJECTOR
A gas mixture apparatus includes a measurement control system, an activation system, a pressurized chamber with one or more gases, and a mixing chamber. A filter can be preattached to the outlet of the mixture apparatus, allowing excess gas to be discharged therethrough and then atmospheric air to be drawn into the mixture apparatus through the filter for creating a therapeutic gas mixture.
Ampule Autoinjector Systems and Methods
An autoinjector is described that includes an outer body, a first trigger, an output needle, and a first compartment. The first compartment is positioned within the outer body and includes (i) a main body, (ii) a first biasing member coupled to the first trigger, and (iii) a protrusion positioned at a distal end of the main body. The autoinjector further includes a second compartment positioned in the outer body and in fluid communication with the first compartment and the output needle. The autoinjector also includes a second biasing member coupled to a second trigger. The first biasing member is configured to, upon application of force to the first trigger, automatically move an ampule in a distal direction relative to the main body to force the ampule against the protrusion, so as to break the ampule and allow a medicament to flow from the ampule to the second compartment.
Self-puncturing liquid drug cartridges and associated dispenser
Self-puncturing liquid drug cartridges and an associated inhaler are used to deliver one or more separate doses of an aerosolized liquid drug. A cartridge includes a needle assembly coupled to a drug container. The needle assembly includes a hollow needle and is reconfigurable from a first configuration to a second configuration upon insertion of the cartridge into the inhaler. In the first configuration, the hollow needle does not extend into the container. In the second configuration, the hollow needle extends into the container. The inhaler includes an aerosol generator that includes a vibratable membrane that aerosolizes liquid drug ejected from the cartridge for inhalation by a patient.
Filtering injection needle assembly for syringe
The present invention relates to a filtering injection needle assembly for a syringe, and more particularly, to an apparatus for further facilitating suction of an injection liquid. The filtering injection needle assembly includes an injection needle (100) including a needle (110) and a hub (120); and a cap (200) configured to receive the needle (110) and including a filter (210), wherein the hub (200) is formed with a through-hole (121) for communication between an inside and an outside of the hub, and opening/closing of the through-hole (121) is controlled by a one-way valve means (300). The filtering injection needle assembly blocks foreign substances introduced into the syringe, thereby enhancing safety, and wherein the filtering injection needle assembly has various types of one-way valve means provided in the hub of the injection needle to further facilitate the suction of the injection liquid.
Syringes with mixing chamber in a removable cap
The present invention is directed to a multi-compartment medical device for segregated storage and on demand mixing of at least two components and expression of the resulting mixture from the device. The mixing device comprises a syringe having an open end and outlet and containing a first component; and a cap with a fixed outer body and an expandable chamber contained therein, wherein said cap is removably attached to the outlet of the syringe and a cross-section of the cap is larger than a syringe cross-section and the cap is shorter than the syringe.
Seal Structures for Wet/Dry Automatic Injectors
An automatic injection device including a housing, a chamber with a first compartment and a second compartment, and a seal structure between the compartments. The seal structure is initially in a sealing condition that seals the first compartment from the second compartment, where the seal includes a plug and an outer sealing member. The plug is slidably movable within the outer sealing member to convert the seal structure from the sealing condition to a mixing condition by opening a path between the first compartment and the second compartment. The automatic injection device also includes a needle assembly and an activation assembly. Activation of the activation assembly causes (1) pressurization of the first compartment, (2) the seal structure to convert from the sealing condition to the mixing condition, and (3) the first and second medicament components to be mixed and forced through the needle assembly.
Sealed Medication Dispensing and Administering Device
A sealed medication dispensing and administering device has a syringe, a plunger, a connecting holder, an elastic valve, and a liquid stopper. The syringe has an outer barrel having an air inlet tube and an inner barrel inserted inside the outer barrel and having a medication inlet tube. The plunger is inserted within the outer and inner barrels. The connecting holder is connected to the syringe and has a connecting cover with at least one outer connecting hole and two piercing needles respectively piercing inside the air inlet tube and the medication inlet tube. Inner spaces of the two piercing needles communicate with the at least one outer connecting hole. The elastic valve selectively covers the two piercing needles. The fluid stopper is disposed within the connecting cover and blocks one of the at least one outer connecting hole and the inner space of the air inlet tube.
ARTERIAL SYRINGE ASSEMBLY
An arterial syringe assembly is disclosed. The assembly includes a housing with a proximal end that may couple with a syringe barrel and a distal end that may couple with a needle. A needle cover is coupled with the housing at a hinge that may rotate to position the needle cover relative to the needle and may rotate to an orientation aligned with the needle such that the needle is within the needle cover. A needle plug is coupled to the needle cover at a distal end of the needle cover and may include plug material. The needle plug may slide axially relative to the needle to advance the needle plug at a distal end of the needle. A hydrophobic filter is positioned within the syringe barrel to evacuate air through a proximal end of the syringe barrel after the needle tip extends within the plug material.
TITANUM FILTER FOR SYRINGES AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD
Provided is a titanium filter for syringes and its manufacturing method, more particularly, a titanium filter for syringes which has an improved filtering power and high safety and its manufacturing method. The titanium filter for syringes comprises: a first body having a hollow hole formed on the inner side thereof; and a second body configured to extend in the longitudinal direction of the first body and to cover one side of the hollow hole, wherein the first body and the second body are composed of titanium powders.
