AUTOMATIC CIRCUIT BREAKER PAN INTERLOCK
An apparatus includes a cell pan that supports a circuit breaker within a switchgear cell, and a lift pan that carries a circuit breaker outside of the switchgear cell. The lift pan has a track for a roller on the circuit breaker. The apparatus further includes an extension rail that interconnects the lift pan with the cell pan in an aligned position. With the lift pan in aligned position, the track on the lift pan can receive the roller upon horizontal draw-out movement of the circuit breaker from the cell pan. A latch on the extension rail has a blocking position in which it blocks the roller from rolling outward off the cell pan, and has a non-blocking position in which it does not block the roller from rolling outward off the cell pan. The latch automatically moves from the blocking position to the non-blocking position under the influence of the lift pan upon movement of the lift pan into the aligned position.

A circuit breaker, comprising a housing, an operation assembly, an arc extinguishing device, and a transmission mechanism. The housing has, in a first direction, a bottom and a top opposite to each other, an accommodation portion recessed from the top to the bottom, and an accommodation cavity semi-surrounding the accommodation portion; a rotating wheel and a movable contact connected to the rotating wheel are provided in the accommodation cavity close to the top and adjacent to the accommodation portion in a second direction, wherein the first direction intersects the second direction; the operation assembly is rotatably and detachably connected to the top of the housing; the arc extinguishing device comprises an arc extinguishing chamber located in the accommodation cavity and close to the bottom of the housing. The circuit breaker can avoid interference between the transmission mechanism and other components while increasing the size of the arc extinguishing chamber.

A circuit breaker, comprising a housing, an operation assembly, an arc extinguishing device, and a transmission mechanism. The housing has, in a first direction, a bottom and a top opposite to each other, an accommodation portion recessed from the top to the bottom, and an accommodation cavity semi-surrounding the accommodation portion; a rotating wheel and a movable contact connected to the rotating wheel are provided in the accommodation cavity close to the top and adjacent to the accommodation portion in a second direction, wherein the first direction intersects the second direction; the operation assembly is rotatably and detachably connected to the top of the housing; the arc extinguishing device comprises an arc extinguishing chamber located in the accommodation cavity and close to the bottom of the housing. The present invention provides an arc extinguishing structure for direct current circuit breaker, which comprises a first casing, a second casing, an arc extinguishing chamber, a gas generating hood, a movable contactor and a stationary contactor, with a plurality of arc extinguishing grid-plates installed at an upper part inside the arc extinguishing chamber and having lower slots which are open towards an accommodation space and have a size that gradually decreases along a direction from the second casing to the first casing, wherein the first casing has a first extension plate disposed against the first gas generating plate and a second extension plate disposed against the second gas generating plate, the first extension plate and the second extension plate are arranged to extend into the arc extinguishing chamber so as to form a spacing communicated with the accommodation space and disposed opposite to the arc extinguishing grid-plates.

The present invention provides an arc extinguishing structure for direct current circuit breaker, which comprises a first casing, a second casing, an arc extinguishing chamber, a gas generating hood, a movable contactor and a stationary contactor, with a plurality of arc extinguishing grid-plates installed at an upper part inside the arc extinguishing chamber and having lower slots which are open towards an accommodation space and have a size that gradually decreases along a direction from the second casing to the first casing, wherein the first casing has a first extension plate disposed against the first gas generating plate and a second extension plate disposed against the second gas generating plate, the first extension plate and the second extension plate are arranged to extend into the arc extinguishing chamber so as to form a spacing communicated with the accommodation space and disposed opposite to the arc extinguishing grid-plates.
