ARC EXTINUISHING ASSEMBLY AND CIRCUIT BREAKER COMPRISING SAME
The present disclosure relates to an arc extinguishing assembly, including side members which are spaced apart by a certain distance and disposed to face each other; an exhaust which is installed on an upper part of the side member; a plurality of grids which are installed between the side members and having both ends fixed to each of the side members; an arc guide having one end coupled to the side member and installed under the plurality of grids; and a magnet which is installed such that both ends are respectively coupled to the side members under the plurality of grids, and forms an electromagnetic force in a direction toward the grid, and a circuit breaker including the same.
Shield apparatus and circuit interrupter
A shield apparatus and a resultant circuit interrupter are disclosed, wherein the shield apparatus includes a shield apparatus base and a protection apparatus, with the protection apparatus including a shield that helps to direct an electrical arc along a flow path through a number of passages and that will help to enable dissipation of the arc and the plasma generated thereby. The shield apparatus is mountable to a portion of the housing of the circuit interrupter within its interior, and the shield is situated adjacent at least a first passage.
Shield apparatus and circuit interrupter
A shield apparatus and a resultant circuit interrupter are disclosed, wherein the shield apparatus includes a shield apparatus base and a protection apparatus, with the protection apparatus including a shield that helps to direct an electrical arc along a flow path through a number of passages and that will help to enable dissipation of the arc and the plasma generated thereby. The shield apparatus is mountable to a portion of the housing of the circuit interrupter within its interior, and the shield is situated adjacent at least a first passage.
ARC FLASH MITIGATION DEVICE
A device includes an electro-mechanical switching device having an open-circuit and closed-circuit conditions and a path of least resistance having a path input and a path output with the switching device between the input and the output. The device includes a bypass power switch device that comprises a solid-state circuit interrupter and that is configured to conduct current between the input and the output in response to an open-circuit condition of the switching device. The device includes a current sensor that is connected to the output and configured to detect a fault current event. The device includes an actuator that is coupled to the switching device and a controller that is configured to generate a trigger signal to activate the actuator to cause the open-circuit condition of the switching device and to interrupt the fault current event by the power switch device, based on the detected fault current event.
Arc flash mitigation device
A device includes an electro-mechanical switching device having an open-circuit and closed-circuit conditions and a path of least resistance having a path input and a path output with the switching device between the input and the output. The device includes a bypass power switch device that comprises a solid-state circuit interrupter and that is configured to conduct current between the input and the output in response to an open-circuit condition of the switching device. The device includes a current sensor that is connected to the output and configured to detect a fault current event. The device includes an actuator that is coupled to the switching device and a controller that is configured to generate a trigger signal to activate the actuator to cause the open-circuit condition of the switching device and to interrupt the fault current event by the power switch device, based on the detected fault current event.
Arc chamber of circuit breaker
The present device was conceived in order to resolve the aforementioned problem, and the objective thereof is to provide an arc chamber of a circuit breaker that enhances assemblability and ensures the consistency of the product. An arc chamber of the circuit breaker according to one embodiment of the present device comprises: a plurality of grids arranged at predetermined intervals outside a motion locus of a movable contactor and having a body portion and a leg portion extending from one side of the body portion; and a fixing cap having a receiving portion that is inserted into the leg portion in a press-fitting manner, wherein the fixing cap has a coupling portion extending to a side of the body portion at one side thereof.

The present device was conceived in order to resolve the aforementioned problem, and the objective thereof is to provide an arc chamber of a circuit breaker that enhances assemblability and ensures the consistency of the product. A low-voltage circuit breaker comprising one or more electrical poles, each of said poles having an internal space with a contact area and an arc extinguishing area, a fixed contact assembly and a movable contact assembly being positioned in said contact area, said movable contact assembly being movable between a closed position in which it is into contact with said fixed contact assembly and an open position in which it is spaced apart from said fixed contact assembly, an arc chamber comprising a plurality of substantially parallel arc-breaking plates made of a ferromagnetic material being positioned in said arc extinguishing area. The low-voltage circuit breaker is characterized in that said arc chamber further comprises at least one arc-breaking plate which is at least partially made of a ceramic material.

A low-voltage circuit breaker comprising one or more electrical poles, each of said poles having an internal space with a contact area and an arc extinguishing area, a fixed contact assembly and a movable contact assembly being positioned in said contact area, said movable contact assembly being movable between a closed position in which it is into contact with said fixed contact assembly and an open position in which it is spaced apart from said fixed contact assembly, an arc chamber comprising a plurality of substantially parallel arc-breaking plates made of a ferromagnetic material being positioned in said arc extinguishing area. The low-voltage circuit breaker is characterized in that said arc chamber further comprises at least one arc-breaking plate which is at least partially made of a ceramic material.
Electrical circuit breaker
An electric circuit breaker, including a housing, a cut portion that is arranged in the housing and forms a part of an electric circuit, a cutting member that cuts the cut portion, and a power source arranged on a first end portion side of the housing, the electric circuit breaker including a moving body that allows the cut portion to be inserted and accommodated therein and includes the cutting member and a first arc extinguishing space adjacent to the cutting member, in which the housing includes a cylindrical portion capable of moving the moving body between the first end portion and a second end portion on a side opposite to the first end portion. The moving body is further configured such that the cutting member provided in the moving body cuts the cut portion while the moving body moves from the first end portion toward the second end portion by the power source.
