SYRINGE FOR INJECTING MEDICATION WITH OPENABLE AND CLOSABLE STOPPER
A syringe assembly having a barrel for storing a medication and a stopper positioned within the barrel and having an opening, the stopper separating the proximal and distal sections of the barrel. A plunger is movable axially within the barrel. A cover extends radially from the plunger, the cover movable within the barrel from an open position to a closed position, wherein in the open position the cover exposes the opening in the stopper to enable the medication to flow within the barrel from the proximal section to the distal section and in the closed position the cover covers the opening to prevent the flow of medication from the proximal to the distal section.
MEDICATION DELIVERY SYSTEM WITH CONTROL VALVE
Valves and medication delivery systems including valves are described herein. A valve includes a valve body and a valve element. The valve body defines a first flow path, a second flow path, and a catheter flow path. The valve element is disposed within the valve body, wherein the valve element is configured to permit fluid communication between the first flow path and the second flow path in a priming position, and is configured to permit fluid communication between the first flow path and the catheter flow path in a dispensing position.
OPHTHALMIC DEVICE
An ophthalmic device including a cannula having a cannula distal end, a lumen, and one or more orifices coupled to the lumen is provided. The cannula is configured to deliver a fluid. A sleeve is disposed around the cannula and has a sleeve distal end. A handle is coupled to the sleeve and the cannula, the handle having an actuator. An internal mechanism is coupled to the actuator and is configured to pump the fluid. The internal mechanism includes an inlet port disposed on a handle proximal end, a drive member coupled to the actuator and a plunger coupled to the drive member. The ophthalmic device is configured to retain a volume of fluid and to be prevented from being re-primed after a predetermined number of actuator presses, wherein the retained volume of fluid is dispensed over an additional number of actuator pushes.
DEVICE FOR ADMINISTERING A FLUID
A device for administering a fluid can include a cylinder, a piston connected to a piston rod, and a tensioning device connected to the piston rod. In a dispensing procedure, a ramp track is rotated until a roller runs over a transfer region and is accelerated toward the first plateau and, as a result, the piston is moved toward an open dispensing end. The ramp track runs on the face side of a wall extending along a circular path. A cover engages over the ramp track, the driver and the roller and has at least one scraper extending counter to the first direction and extending within the wall as far as the inner side of the wall, and thus scrapes off lubricant located on the inner side from the inner side.
System and method for microdose injection
In one embodiment, a system for injecting includes a syringe body having proximal and distal ends, a syringe interior, and a syringe flange at the proximal end thereof. The system also includes an injectable fluid disposed in the syringe interior. The system further includes a stopper member disposed in the syringe interior. Moreover, the system includes a plunger member coupled to the stopper member. In addition, the system includes a finger flange removably coupled to the syringe flange, the finger flange including a proximally directed screw. The system also includes a rotatable member disposed on the proximally directed screw, the rotatable member defining a rotatable member opening through which the plunger member is disposed and having an elastic latch disposed adjacent the rotatable member opening.
SYRINGE-BASED DELIVERY DEVICE FOR A VASCULAR ACCESS INSTRUMENT
A delivery device for delivering an instrument into a catheter assembly may include a syringe having a barrel and a plunger movable within the barrel. In response to depression of the plunger within the barrel, an instrument may be advanced distally. The instrument may include a catheter, a probe, a light tube for disinfection, or another suitable instrument. In response to depression of the plunger within the barrel, a distal end of the instrument may move through a catheter assembly coupled to the delivery device and into vasculature of a patient.
MEDICATION INJECTION SYSTEM
An automatic injection device is provided, where the device includes a syringe carrier and a retraction assembly. The syringe carrier may include two identical parts that are discrete from one another and interlock with one another. Carrier includes a cushion to support the syringe. Protrusions may be provided on cushion to further support syringe. The retraction assembly includes a shuttle and a follower, the follower having a moveable latch. The follower has a coupled configuration in which the latch is biasedly coupled to the shuttle, and a decoupled configuration in which the latch is in sliding engagement with a curvilinear surface of the shuttle.
PLUNGER CAPABLE OF MOVING BACK AND FORTH AND MEDICINE INJECTION DEVICE INCLUDING SAME
The present invention relates to a plunger capable of moving back and forth and a medicine injection device including same, in which, by manually or automatically moving the plunger backwards, user convenience may be provided. In addition, according to the present invention, when a rotation unit (20) is no longer rotated, first flat portions (151-1, 151-2) of a first adjusting portion (150-1) and a second adjusting portion (150-2) are slid in an inclined direction, that is, in a direction from a second housing (120) to the rotation unit (20), respectively along a first inclined portion (121) and a second inclined portion (122), so that the first adjusting portion (150-1) and the second adjusting portion (150-2) are spaced apart from each other, and thus a pushrod unit (10) can be moved in a direction of the rotation unit (20), that is, backwards.
Medicine injecting tip, hand piece, and skin treating device
Provided are a medicine injecting tip, which injects a medicine into a hole in a skin formed by a needle while invading the needle to a preset depth of a deep portion of the skin, a hand piece equipped with the medicine injecting tip, and a skin treatment device using the medicine injecting tip. The medicine injecting tip includes a cylinder, a plunger that reciprocates downward and upward, and has a first space and a second space formed inside the cylinder, and a needle disposed in the plunger and disposed in the second space of the cylinder. The needle is inserted into a skin and a negative pressure state is formed in the second space when the plunger moves downward, and the needle is discharged from the skin and a positive pressure state is formed in the second space, when the plunger moves upward.
