A fuse tube device is disclosed. The fuse tube device is allowed to be assembled with an insulation device so as to form a load break fuse cutout fully closed. The fuse tube comprises: an insulation housing, an accommodation tube, a first electrical connection unit, a second electrical connection unit, a conductive rod, a fuse element, a first conductive plate, a first cover, a second conductive plate, and a second cover. When assembling the fuse tube device with the insulation device, a first embedding member and a second embedding member of the insulation housing are embedded into a first terminal connecting opening and a second terminal connecting opening of the insulation device, such that the first electrical connection unit and the second electrical connection unit contact a first terminal connecting member and a second terminal connecting member of the insulation device, respectively.
CAPSULE VALIDATION FOR HEAT-NOT-BURN (HNB) AEROSOL-GENERATING DEVICES
A heater system for a non-combustible aerosol-generating device includes a heater element and a fuse element. The heater element has a heating region, a first terminal and a second terminal. The fuse element is electrically connected between the first terminal and the second terminal in parallel with the heater element. The fuse element has a region configured to induce a localized hot spot to cause the fuse element to open circuit in response to power applied between the first terminal and the second terminal.
Fast smart circuit breaker
A circuit breaker system is provided; the circuit breaker system comprises of a transformer, a capacitor, a pulse generator, a EBWF fuse and a VCB, the circuit breaker system can interrupt rated load current, overload current, surge load current and short-circuit load current within 100 microseconds. The on-state voltage drop of the circuit breaker system is below 0.1V. The circuit breaker system interrupts load current by injecting a non-resonant pulse current to reduce the current between the contacts of the VCB, and circuit breaker system interrupts higher load current by detonating the EBWF fuse to force an open-circuit. The EBWF fuse comprises a detonator in the low terminal and a contacting bellows in the upper terminal. The EBWF fuse can be engaged and dis-engaged by a fuse holder system.
ISOLATION DEVICE WITH SAFETY FUSE
This description relates generally to semiconductor devices. A semiconductor device can include first and second conductive layers that can be positioned over a substrate, and at least one dielectric layer between the first and second conductive layers. The at least one dielectric layer can be positioned over at least a portion of the second conductive layer, and the first conductive layer can be positioned over a portion of the least one dielectric layer. The semiconductor device can further include a third conductive layer that can be positioned over the substrate and can be conductively connected to the second conductive layer and the substrate. The third conductive layer includes a fusible link.
Attaching an isolated single stud fuse to an electrical device
An electrical device assembly and method to attach an isolated single stud fuse assembly to an electrical device are disclosed. The electrical device assembly consists of multiple studs, one or more of which is replaced with the isolated single stud fuse. A conductive copper landing zone receives an electrically isolated steel stud. When the landing pad assembly is orbital riveted into a plastic housing of the electrical device, the stud is locked into the housing permanently. Electrical devices such as disconnect switches and power distribution modules, both of which include multiple studs, are good candidates for being adapted with the single stud fuse assembly.
Thermal fuse
A thermal fuse may comprise an electrode and a conductor separated by a phase change material. The electrode may be formed from a conductive material that generates hydrogen when exposed to water or hydrogen peroxide. The phase change material may release water or hydrogen peroxide at or above an activation temperature.
Power distribution unit with a configurable offset voltage for fuse current determination
An apparatus to determine offset voltage to adjust a fuse current determination including a fuse load circuit structured to determine that no current is demanded for a fuse load, and to further determine that contactors associated with the fuse are open, an offset voltage determination circuit structured to determine an offset voltage corresponding to at least one component in a fuse circuit associated with the fuse, in response to the determining that no current is demanded for the fuse load, and an offset data management circuit structured to store the offset voltage, and to communicate a current calculation offset voltage for use by a controller to determine current flow through the fuse.
Power Component And System With The Power Component
A power component includes two electric terminals, a component housing, a main component at least partially surrounded by the component housing, connected with the two terminals, and configured to carry a power current flowing between the two electric terminals, and a sensor and emitter unit which is configured to measure a value of a physical quantity (T, V, ΔV) characterizing an operating state of the main component, and to emit an electromagnetic signal, in which the measured value of the physical quantity is encoded. The sensor and emitter unit includes an antenna for emitting the electromagnetic signal which is spaced apart from the main component and arranged in, on and/or at the component housing.
