Fuse with encapsulated arc quenching material
In one embodiment, a fuse includes a casing, a fuse element housed inside the casing, and one or more arc-quenching-material containers including arc quenching material. Each arc-quenching-material container may be configured proximately to one or more weak spots of the fuse element such that, in an event of an arc, the arc-quenching-material containers are configured to rupture and release the arc quenching material.
VARISTOR INCLUDING REFLOWABLE THERMAL PROTECTION DEVICE ON VARISTOR SURFACE
A circuit protection device may include a varistor body including a first side, wherein a thermal electrode is disposed along the first side, and wherein a first lead is electrically connected to the thermal electrode and a second lead is electrically connected to a second side. The circuit protection device may further include a reflowable circuit protection device atop the thermal electrode, and a third lead connected to the reflowable circuit protection device, wherein an end of the third lead is a spring connected to the thermal electrode by a conductive element.

Power source control system
A power source control system includes a first power source, a second power source, a first switch, a second switch, a first voltage detector, a second voltage detector, and a control unit. The first power source supplies power to a first load and a second load. The second power source supplies power to the second load when an abnormality occurs. The control unit detects the presence or absence of an abnormality based on a voltage detected by the first voltage detector and/or the second voltage detector. In addition, the control unit switches on the first switch and switches off the second switch in a normal state. Further, the control unit switches off the first switch and switches on the second switch when an abnormality is detected.
