A fuse module including a housing, a busbar disposed within the housing adjacent an interior surface of a rear wall of the housing, a terminal extending through a front wall of the housing and having a fuse coupling portion disposed within the housing adjacent an interior surface of a front wall of the housing and a conductor coupling portion protruding from an exterior surface of the front wall of the housing, and a movable pushrod extending through the rear wall of the housing and having a head portion disposed adjacent a rigid portion of the busbar for moving the rigid portion of the busbar between a retracted position, the rigid portion of the busbar located near the interior surface of the rear wall, and an extended position wherein the rigid portion of the busbar is located further from the interior surface of the rear wall relative to the retracted position.
PROTECTION DEVICE INCLUDING MULTI-PLANE FUSIBLE ELEMENT
Disclosed are various protection devices and associated methods. In some embodiments, a protection device may include a substrate and a fusible element coupled to the substrate, wherein the fusible element may include a first end opposite a second end, and wherein the first and second ends wrap around the substrate. The fusible element may further include a central section comprising a plurality of segments connected end-to-end in a continuous arrangement between the first and second ends, wherein a first set of segments of the plurality of segments extends along a first plane, and wherein a second set of segments of the plurality of segments extends along a second plane, different than the first plane.
PROTECTION DEVICE INCLUDING MULTI-PLANE FUSIBLE ELEMENT
Disclosed are various protection devices and associated methods. In some embodiments, a protection device may include a substrate and a fusible element coupled to the substrate, wherein the fusible element may include a first end opposite a second end, and wherein the first and second ends wrap around the substrate. The fusible element may further include a central section comprising a plurality of segments connected end-to-end in a continuous arrangement between the first and second ends, wherein a first set of segments of the plurality of segments extends along a first plane, and wherein a second set of segments of the plurality of segments extends along a second plane, different than the first plane.
Cube Fuse Adapter
A cube fuse adapter (1) comprising an adapter housing (2) shaped in the form of a cube fuse and including a pair of fuse reception contacts (4-1, 4-2) provided to receive a cylindrical fuse (5), wherein both fuse reception contacts (4-1, 4-2) are connected to associated electrical contacts (3-1, 3-2) protruding from a bottom side of the adapter housing (2) of said cube fuse adapter (1).
High-voltage fusing apparatus
A high-voltage fusing apparatus includes a current fuse, a temperature fuse, and a current-carrying fuse. The current fuse is connected in series with the temperature fuse, and a series branch of the current fuse and the temperature fuse is connected in parallel with the current-carrying fuse. A resistance value of the current-carrying fuse is less than a resistance value of the current fuse, and a fusing temperature of the current-carrying fuse is lower than a fusing temperature of the temperature fuse. The high-voltage fusing apparatus can cut off a high-voltage circuit quickly, and effectively protect the high-voltage heating circuit from overheating.
High-voltage fusing apparatus
A high-voltage fusing apparatus includes a current fuse, a temperature fuse, and a current-carrying fuse. The current fuse is connected in series with the temperature fuse, and a series branch of the current fuse and the temperature fuse is connected in parallel with the current-carrying fuse. A resistance value of the current-carrying fuse is less than a resistance value of the current fuse, and a fusing temperature of the current-carrying fuse is lower than a fusing temperature of the temperature fuse. The high-voltage fusing apparatus can cut off a high-voltage circuit quickly, and effectively protect the high-voltage heating circuit from overheating.
CIRCUIT PROTECTION FOR HYBRID ANTENNA DISTRIBUTION UNITS
Some embodiments of the present disclosure are directed to a hybrid distribution unit that can distribute both power and data connections from a power and fiber cables (or from a hybrid cable containing both power and fiber) within a compact enclosure that helps reduce the overall footprint of the hybrid distribution unit mounted on a cellular tower. Some embodiments may also include circuit protection features, such as fuses or circuit breakers. Other embodiments may be described or claimed.
FUSE BOX FOR MOTOR VEHICLE
The invention relates to a box (10) including a pair of fuses (14) intended for protecting an electrical apparatus. Each of the fuses (24, 26) has a first end (28, 32) and a second end (30, 34), said fuse box (10) comprising a pair of output terminals (46, 50) coupled with the first ends (28, 32) and a pair of input terminals (80, 86) coupled with the second ends (30, 34). The box further comprises at least one other pair (16) of fuses, each of the fuses (25, 27) of said at least one other pair having other first (36, 40) and second (38, 42) ends, and another pair of input terminals (64, 70) coupled respectively with the other second ends (38, 42). The other first ends (36, 40) of said at least one other pair of fuses are coupled respectively with the terminals of said pair of output terminals (46, 50).
FUSE BOX FOR MOTOR VEHICLE
The invention relates to a box (10) including a pair of fuses (14) intended for protecting an electrical apparatus. FUSE HOLDER, CARRIER AND ASSOCIATED METHOD
A fuse holder for holding a fuse is provided that includes a body, a line side connector supported by the body, and a load side connector supported by the body. The fuse holder also includes a toggle switch supported by the body and capable of toggled engagement in a first position that provides electrical connection. The switch is also capable of toggled engagement in a second position that provides electrical isolation between the line side connector and the load side connector. The fuse holder also includes a fuse carrier. The fuse carrier is supported by the body and adapted for holding the fuse and the fuse carrier is adapted to be removed from the fuse holder. The fuse holder includes a blocking device blocking the toggled engagement of the switch from the second position to the first position when the fuse carrier is not within the fuse holder.
