Injection system

Methods and systems for an injection system are provided. An example injection system includes a container for a pharmaceutical that is sealed at a proximal end with a plunger having a pushing surface for engaging an inner surface of the hollow body. A plunger rod extends axially from the proximal end of the container and is covered with a plunger rod cover. Removal of the cover activates the system and allows for delivery of the pharmaceutical product from the container by advancing the plunger within the container towards the seal.

Microcartridge

A container for delivering a medicament to a target location includes a housing having a proximal end and a distal end, the housing including a cap locking tab at the distal end, and a vial containing the medicament. The container includes a plunger slidable within the vial from a proximal end to a distal end of the vial to dispel the medicament, an injection member associated with the distal end of the vial, such that the medicament dispelled from the vial passes through the injection member to the target location, and a slidable interaction member associated with the distal end of the vial configured to slide with the vial. An interaction between the slidable interaction member and the cap locking tab causes the cap locking tab to bias outward, and placement of a safety cap on the container after use locks the safety cap onto the container via an interaction with the cap locking tab. The container may further include a resistance feature to control movement of a plunger rod relative to the vial.

Syringe fill system and method

A syringe fill system is described, which is useful for filling syringes for dental anesthetic applications. The system incorporates capability for push-pull, pull-push, push-push, and pull-pull modes of operation, for loading syringes with compositions comprising multiple fluid components. A syringe fillable by such syringe fill systems is described, providing haptic and audible feedback to a user, to aid in administering precise amounts of therapeutic compositions. Also disclosed are cassette assemblies for use in such syringe fill systems. Such cassette assemblies may be formed of plastic and elastomeric materials of construction, as disposable or single-use components of the syringe fill system.

The safety syringe includes a barrel having a clamping slot, a large sealing ring and a zero line; a plunger having a pull pawl and an annular convex clamping disc, an avoiding seams; a rubber plug; a needle connector having annular clamping pawls, an inner sealing ring and a pullback ring; and a locking body made of a polymer material with elasticity and having a sealing disc, a sealing ring, a clamping ring and a checking ring. The sealing disc, large sealing ring, sealing ring and inner sealing ring are engaged to constitute a sealing structure. When the clamping ring meshed with the pull pawl is dragged to retract inwards, the sealing ring and pullback ring are engaged to pull the needle connector to retract, and the checking ring is plugged into the inner cavity of the clamping pawls to fix the clamping pawls in the clamping slot.

PISTON FOR USE AS A SYRINGE WITH SPECIFIC DIMENSIONAL RATIO OF A SEALING STRUCTURE

A piston for use in an injector comprising a cylinder having a longitudinal axis and an inner wall, which piston has a deformable sealing element with a convex surface, which deformable sealing element when the piston is inserted in the cylinder abuts the inner wall of the cylinder at an abutting interface and seals an annular gap between the piston and the inner wall of the cylinder. The abutting interface and the deformable sealing element have axial dimensions parallel with the longitudinal axis. The ratio between the axial dimension of the abutting interface and the axial dimension of the deformable sealing element is in the range between 0.01 and 0.2. In another aspect, an injector includes the piston and is used in a disposable syringe of the piston. The piston can prevent refilling of a syringe.

Locking Device for a Syringe

A locking structure for an injection pen. The locking structure for an injection pen is disposed among a spiral duct (30), a push rod (81) and a propelling lever (60) of a circularly-pushing device (1) of the injection pen. The propelling lever (60) penetrates in a tube center hole (331) of a linkage wall (33) in the spiral duct (30) by means of a dosage control section (63) having a push thread (631). The push rod (81) penetrates in the propelling lever (60) by means of a rod portion (811). The locking structure comprises a necking ring portion (36), a buckling recessed portion (814), and an elastic clasp (612). The necking ring portion (36) is formed at the rear side surface of the linkage wall (33) in the spiral duct (30). The buckling recessed portion (814) is formed in the front section of the rod portion (811) of the push rod (81). The elastic clasp (612) is formed in the rear end of the propelling lever (60) adjacent to the dosage control section (63).
