A dispensing device (102) is provided to dispense a designated amount of material on every dose delivery operation. The dispensing device (102) includes a thumb pad (202) and a cam drum (204) that is coupled to the thumb pad (202). The thumb pad (202) is configured to be pulled out towards a proximal end (104) of the dispensing device (102) for setting a dose of a material to be dispensed out and to be pushed in towards a distal end (106) of the dispensing device (102) for delivering the dose. The cam drum (204) includes at least one linear cam profile (402) and at least one helical cam profile (404) that are disposed on a surface of the cam drum (204). The thumb pad (202) is configured to ride on the linear cam profile (402) when setting the dose and on the helical cam profile (404) when delivering the dose.

METHODS AND DEVICES FOR AUTOFLUSH SYRINGES

Described herein are syringe devices, systems and methods. In general, the syringe may include a first chamber and a cartridge movable within the first chamber. The cartridge may include a cartridge chamber and a valve in fluid communication with the cartridge chamber and the first chamber and having an open configuration and a closed configuration. The valve may allow movement of a liquid out of the cartridge chamber while in a open configuration. The cartridge may also include a second end, movable within the cartridge chamber, and a locking mechanism having a locked configuration and an unlocked configuration, the locking mechanism preventing movement of the second end within the cartridge chamber while in the locked configuration.

Apparatus and methods for purging catheter systems

Apparatus and methods for providing controlled pressure-flow pulses which purge a catheter system with turbulent flow flushing. Accomplishment of such controlled pressure-flow pulses is provided by a variety of inventive devices including a special plunger rod for a conventional syringe, other interactive parts for conventional syringes, an in-line catheter attachable device which automatically generates the controlled pressure-flow pulses and also single pulse, digitally operated devices.

POWERPACK SUB-ASSEMBLY

A container for delivering a medicament to a target location includes a housing having a proximal end and a distal end, the housing including a cap locking tab at the distal end, and a vial containing medicament. The container includes a plunger slidable within the vial from the proximal end to the distal end of the vial to dispel the medicament, an injection member associated with the distal end, such that medicament dispelled from the vial passes through the injection member to the target location, and a slidable interaction member associated with the distal end of the vial configured to slide with the vial. An interaction between the slidable interaction member and cap locking tab causes the cap locking tabs to bias outward, and placement of a safety cap on the container after use locks the safety cap onto the container via the interaction with the cap locking tabs. The container may further include a resistance feature to control movement of the plunger rod relative to the vial.

Self-Pumping Syringe

A syringe is provided. The syringe includes a syringe barrel including an open proximal end, a closed distal end, and a sidewall extending therebetween. The syringe also includes: a plunger having an annular sidewall configured to seal against an interior surface of the sidewall of the syringe barrel, the plunger being configured to move through the syringe barrel in proximal and distal directions; a pump in fluid communication with an interior volume of the syringe barrel, the pump being configured to draw fluid from the syringe barrel; and a nozzle including a lumen in fluid communication with the pump and configured to receive fluid drawn from the syringe barrel by the pump and to expel the fluid through a distal end of the lumen. The pump can be a valve-less piston pump.

SINGLE-USE SYRINGE
20190321567 · 2019-10-24 ·

The invention relates to medical equipment, in particular to single-use devices for injection. The syringe consists of a needle, a barrel, a plunger, and a plunger stopper. The plunger with the plunger stopper has the same length as the syringe barrel and a specific form of a cylindrical handle stop. In order to release the solution, the syringe has not one but several small holes allowing the solution to pass through smoothly, while preventing the plunger from being pushed out from the needle fitting tip. The technical result consists in preventing reuse of the syringe with full immersion of the plunger.

Vaccination Syringe

A replaceable needle assembly is provided for a retractable, prefilled syringe comprising a barrel having a mounting member and a plunger, whereby the retractable needle can be replaced by a user without affecting the retraction mechanism. The replaceable needle assembly comprises a needle fitted to a retractable needle mount and a needle retainer. The needle mount is removably, screw-threadedly mountable to the mounting member of the barrel. The needle retainer comprises a plurality of fingers that releasably engage the retractable needle to thereby prevent inadvertent retraction of the retractable needle before engagement by the plunger. The plunger comprises a plunger seal comprising an outer member and an inner member that engages the needle for spring-driven retraction. At the end of retraction, a lock is formed between the plunger and barrel to prevent re-use of the syringe.
