A device for storing oil or another vaporizable substance can include a porous body adapted to absorb a volume of liquid and to retain the volume of liquid for vaporization. A porous body can include a matrix of pores adapted to take up and retain oil by capillary action. A method of vaporizing oil can include storing the oil in a porous body and heating the body.

The invention is a medical treatment mechanism. Using an organic material which is ignited and inhaled by a patient, such as tobacco or cannabis, a breakable capsule containing the medicine is contained and selectively released so that heat from the ignited organic material activates the medicine. The medicine is released, ideally by the patient breaking the capsule, the medicine is inhaled by the patient for treatment of a medical condition.

The presently disclosed subject matter is generally directed to a device that can be used for smoking a smokable product (such as tobacco). Particularly, the device includes a housing, cap, tube, and retainer. The housing and cap cooperate to provide a closed interior for burning an associated smokable product. The retainer functions to releasably attach the product (e.g., a cigarette) to one end of the tube. The tube passes through an opening in the cap such that a first portion of the tube is housed within the device interior and a second portion is positioned exterior to the device. The smokable product is burned within the interior of the device, and the user has access to the smoke produced by inhaling through the tube.

A gaming system is provided, including a jackpot server and a gaming server. The jackpot server accumulates respective contributions from gaming client devices into a progressive jackpot. The gaming server presents wagering games to a player on a gaming client device. A curcumin entrained vapor generator providing the release of an essence, or compound or substances, from a solid or powder or liquid into a vapor exiting the generator, comprising a container having an interior volume and a region disposed to contain a liquid which emits or forms a vapor, and an openable closed end distal from said contained liquid. An interior support formed to support material (e.g. curcumin or other) thereon and is included and has a plurality of openings, and is dimensioned less than said container interior dimension across said container liquid to form a large vapor passage allowing the essence of the included material to be gently released into the vapor of the liquid and released into the external environment via the container openings. Other embodiments include esthetically shaped support structures, e.g. a leaf, a plant twig-like arms, etc. and/or graphic overlays, etchings, engravings, etc.

Devices for generating and releasing vapor. In particular, described herein are portable devices for generating a low-temperature inhalable vapor having an elongated tubular body containing a vaporization chamber and a battery-powered heater, a removable mouthpiece covering the vaporization chamber, a display configured to indicate the temperature of the vaporization chamber; a microcontroller configured to regulate the temperature of the vaporization chamber, and a control to select from among a variety of temperature settings.

There is provided in accordance with an exemplary embodiment of the invention, a device and a method for controlled extraction of at least one active substance from at least one type of plant matter by application of heat, the device comprising: a heating element adapted to apply heat to an area of the plant matter to extract the substance; and a mechanism adapted for moving the plant matter relative to the heating element. Optionally, the active substance is a restricted substance. There is also provided in accordance with an exemplary embodiment of the invention, a method of monitoring and controlling inhalation of a restricted substance. There is provided in accordance with an exemplary embodiment of the invention, a method of manufacturing a tape of plant matter comprising an active substance.

An exothermal vaporizer is provided. The exothermal vaporizer has a body including an air and vapor mix port, a fluid inlet port in communication with a reservoir, an air inlet, and a wicking material. A mouthpiece is coupled to the body and a temperature indicating cap is removable from the body. A counter flow design exothermal vaporizer, a modular exothermal vaporizer, and a vaporizer which is adjustable to modulate and/or regulate the flow ratio of dilution air and produced vapor are also disclosed.

A volatizer is provided including a multifunction cap secured over the open end of a body or other device, the chamber or other part of the device holding an amount of material to be extracted by selective volatization therein and including a thermo-indicator thereon or therein capable of deforming, actuating or otherwise indicating upon heating to a preselected temperature to provide an indication of the proper temperature for volatilization and extraction of the selected and or target compound from the material within the device.

The present disclosure provides an aerosol precursor consumable, and an aerosol delivery device that comprises a control unit that defines a receiving chamber, and a removable and replaceable aerosol precursor consumable, at least a portion of the consumable configured to be received into the receiving chamber. The aerosol precursor consumable comprises a housing defining an outer wall, an aerosol precursor composition reservoir located in the housing and configured to contain an aerosol precursor composition, an atomizer located in the housing, and at least one aroma diffuser. The atomizer is configured to vaporize the aerosol precursor composition to generate an aerosol for oral delivery to a user, and the at least one aroma diffuser is configured to diffuse an aroma composition for olfactory delivery to the user.
