Devices for vaporization of a substance
Devices for generating and releasing vapor. In particular, described herein are portable devices for generating a low-temperature inhalable vapor having an elongated tubular body containing a vaporization chamber and a battery-powered heater, a removable mouthpiece covering the vaporization chamber, a display configured to indicate the temperature of the vaporization chamber; a microcontroller configured to regulate the temperature of the vaporization chamber, and a control to select from among a variety of temperature settings.
Aerosol devices and methods for inhaling a substance and uses thereof
Devices, cartridges, and method are described herein for emulating smoking wherein a device generates an aerosol for inhalation by a subject by heating a viscous material that can have a tactile response in the mouth or respiratory tract, while reducing Hoffman analytes and mutagenic compounds delivered to the user as compared to a common tobacco cigarette.
Exothermal vaporizer
An exothermal vaporizer is provided. The exothermal vaporizer has a body including an air and vapor mix port, a fluid inlet port in communication with a reservoir, an air inlet, and a wicking material. A mouthpiece is coupled to the body and a temperature indicating cap is removable from the body. A counter flow design exothermal vaporizer, a modular exothermal vaporizer, and a vaporizer which is adjustable to modulate and/or regulate the flow ratio of dilution air and produced vapor are also disclosed.
APPARATUS AND METHODS FOR VAPORIZING ESSENTIAL OILS AND WAXES
A vaporizer assembly is shaped and configured to fit partially into a downstem of a water pipe. The vaporizer assembly includes a housing including an upper portion and a lower portion. The lower portion has a smaller diameter, and fits in the downstem. The upper portion of the vaporizer assembly includes a bowl or dish, and a heat source is enclosed within the housing and positioned and configured to selectively heat the bowl or dish. A body of the vaporizer adjacent the bowl includes vapor passages. One or more passages are also formed in the lower portion. Thus, essential oils or waxes placed in the bowl can be vaporized by the heat. The generated vapor may flow from the bowl into and through the vapor passages and lower portion passage and into the waterpipe's downstem.
System and Method for Vaporizing Substances for Inhalation
Embodiments are directed to a portable vaporization device whereby the vaporization device extracts active compounds from various liquids, fluids, oils, and waxes for inhalation and may heat up any desired amount of a vaporizable substance. The vaporization device has a button that ignites the liquefied gas to produce a flame. The vaporization device has a button to start the feeding mechanism, which pushes the vaporizable substance against a tube that the flame is heating to turn the vaporizable substance more viscous where it then runs down the tube into a series of wires, further heating the vaporizable substance, turning the vaporizable substance into vapor. The dosage of the vaporization device may be set to provide a lower amount of vapor to a greater amount of vapor. The button may be pushed to produce as much vapor as desired.
Package for housing a heat source
A package for housing at least a heat source, used for a flavor inhaler, having a columnar shape extending along a predetermined direction and four housing a tubular member having a tubular shape. The package includes a bottom surface and a heat source holder for holding the heat source so that the predetermined direction is directed toward a direction crossing the bottom surface. The heat source holder holds the heat source provided separately of a tubular member and holds the heat source at a state that allows the heat source to swing toward the bottom surface, the tubular member, used for the flavor inhaler, having a tubular shape.
Method of volatizing a substance
A volatizer is provided including a multifunction cap secured over the open end of a body or other device, the chamber or other part of the device holding an amount of material to be extracted by selective volatization therein and including a thermo-indicator thereon or therein capable of deforming, actuating or otherwise indicating upon heating to a preselected temperature to provide an indication of the proper temperature for volatilization and extraction of the selected and or target compound from the material within the device. Also provided is a method of volatizing a substance.
Vaporizer Metal Foam Filter
An improved vaporizer for volalizing inhalants is described. The vaporizer comprises a heat source for heating air flowing through the vaporizer. A material comprising an inhalant is in the vaporizer and a metal foam filter is between the heat source and material. The heat source heats at least one of the air or metal foam filter to at least a vaporization temperature of the inhalant to below a combustion temperature of the material.
SINGLE-SERVE SMOKING SYSTEM, DEVICES, KIT, AND METHODS
A method of making a prepackaged, combustible unit of a plant based material for use in an inhalation system, metered dose inhaler, or dry powder inhaler. The method includes creating and shaping a combustible material packaging by processing leaves or plant fibers into a fibrous sheet, steaming the fibrous sheet, and using a female mold and a corresponding male mold to shape the combustible material packaging. The method further discloses filling pockets disposed within the combustible material packaging with the combustible material and sealing the combustible material packaging around the combustible material to create a prepackaged, combustible unit. Additional embodiments include various inhalation devices, inhalation systems, kits having instruction as to using the inhalation device, and methods of making the prepackaged combustible unit, and methods for using the inhalation devices.
