HEATING UNIT FOR USE IN A DRUG DELIVERY DEVICE
Drug supply units are disclosed which comprise substrates having a plurality of holes formed therein.
ELECTRONIC CIGARETTE
An electronic cigarette includes a battery assembly, an atomizer assembly and a cigarette bottle assembly. An external thread electrode is located in one end of battery assembly. An internal thread electrode is located in one end of atomizer assembly. The battery assembly and the atomizer assembly are connected by the screwthread electrode. The cigarette bottle assembly is inserted into the other end of the atomizer assembly and both form a cigarette type or cigar type body.
Electronic smoking article with improved storage of aerosol precursor compositions
The present disclosure relates to electronic smoking articles exhibiting improved moisture control of a reservoir contained therein. The reservoir can be formed of fibrous materials, such as cellulose acetate fiber, thermoplastic fiber, non-thermoplastic fiber, or a combination thereof. The disclosure further provides methods for forming electronic smoking articles and methods of packaging electronic smoking articles (including cartridges thereof) so as to improve moisture control of the reservoir.
Vaporizer apparatus
Vaporizer apparatuses are provided. In some implementations, an apparatus includes a cartridge and a body. The cartridge comprises a mouthpiece, a storage compartment, and a heater chamber comprising a resistive heating element configured to generate an aerosol comprising vaporizable material and air passing along an airflow path. The body comprises a receptacle configured to insertably receive the cartridge with the heater chamber disposed within the receptacle. The airflow path comprises an air inlet passage and a fluid connection in the cartridge, connecting the heater chamber and the mouthpiece. The air inlet passage has a first side formed by an exterior surface of the cartridge and a second side formed by an internal surface of the receptacle when the receptacle insertably receives the cartridge. Related systems, methods, and articles of manufacture are also described.
Vaporization device systems and methods
Provided herein are systems and methods to generate an inhalable vapor in an electronic vaporization device. The vaporization device may generate a vapor with one or more defined characteristics. In some cases, the vapor may have a predetermined aerosol number density and/or a predetermined average aerosol diameter. The vaporization device may generate a vapor from a vaporizable material. In some cases, the vaporizable material may be a liquid material housed in a cartridge. The vaporization device may comprise a rechargeable power storage device.
Aromatherapy vaporization device
A novel aromatherapy vaporization device is disclosed having a first and second housing with a heating chamber for receiving of phyto material. The heating chamber has an ambient air input port that receives ambient air that does not flow past hot electrical components when entering the heating chamber. An inhalation tube is coupled with the heating chamber for receiving of phyto material vapor therein in a second mode of operation and in a first mode of operation the inhalation tube is uncoupled from the heating chamber to allow for loading of phyto material therein.
INHALATOR AND INHALATOR SET
Inhalator comprising an aerosol generator configured to generate an aerosol by nebulizing a fluid and a controller configured to control operation of the aerosol generator and a housing accommodating at least the aerosol generator and the controller, the housing having a base for supporting the housing on a horizontal surface, wherein a portion of the housing accommodating at least a portion of the controller is arranged further away from the base than the aerosol generator as seen in a vertical direction, when the base is supported on the horizontal surface.
Aerosol-generating system and method of dispensing liquid aerosol-forming substrate with pumped air
An aerosol-generating system may include a liquid storage portion, a vaporizer, and a pump. The liquid storage portion may be configured to store a liquid aerosol-forming substrate. The vaporizer may be configured to volatilize the liquid aerosol-forming substrate. The pump may be configured to pump air into the liquid storage portion so as to push out a volume of the liquid aerosol-forming substrate from the liquid storage portion and to supply the volume of the liquid aerosol-forming substrate to the vaporizer. A method for generating an aerosol may be performed with the system.
Flow measuring apparatus and inhalation apparatus comprising the same
The present document describes a flow measuring apparatus for measuring the air flow through a section of an inhalation apparatus, and for measuring the drug delivery by inhalation using an inhalation apparatus. The flow measuring apparatus comprises a set of Pitot tubes configured for traversing entirely the lumen of the section of an inhalation apparatus. The set of Pitot tubes comprises a first and second Pitot tube which are respectively fluidly connected to a differential pressure sensor, for measuring a difference between a stagnation pressure and a static pressure within the flow measuring apparatus.
Securely attaching cartridges for vaporizer devices
Systems and methods to generate an inhalable vapor in an electronic vaporization device. Described herein are cartridges including a vaporizable material that may be securely connected to a rechargeable base unit.
