AEROSOL-GENERATING SYSTEM AND METHOD OF DISPENSING LIQUID AEROSOL-FORMING SUBSTRATE WITH PUMPED AIR
An aerosol-generating system may include a liquid storage portion, a vaporizer, and a pump. The liquid storage portion may be configured to store a liquid aerosol-forming substrate. The vaporizer may be configured to volatilize the liquid aerosol-forming substrate. The pump may be configured to pump air into the liquid storage portion so as to push out a volume of the liquid aerosol-forming substrate from the liquid storage portion and to supply the volume of the liquid aerosol-forming substrate to the vaporizer. A method for generating an aerosol may be performed with the system.
Method for driving nebulizer and circuit system
A method and a circuit system for driving a nebulizer are provided. When the nebulizer receives acoustic waves, a control circuit extracts audio signals from the acoustic waves. Afterwards, the control circuit determines if the audio signals are within a predetermined frequency range, and can determine whether or not to drive a circuit to produce an aerosol based on the audio signals. Further, a volume of the acoustic waves can also be used to determine whether or not to produce the aerosol, and also determine an output rate of the aerosol. The circuit system of the nebulizer includes an audio receiver for receiving the acoustic waves, an aerosol generator for producing the aerosol, and the control circuit used to control a driving circuit of the aerosol generator to drive a vibrational element to produce the aerosol through vibration in response to the audio signals and the volume.
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR VAPORIZATION AND INHALATION OF ISOLATED SUBSTANCES
A dose unit including at least one isolated bioactive agent applied on a carrier material in thermal contact with an electrically heating element configured to vaporize a pre-determined amount of the agent for pulmonary delivery thereof is provided herein, as well as devices for effecting vaporization and pulmonary delivery of the isolated agent, and methods for preparing the dose unit, controllably releasing the agent therefrom, methods for pulmonary delivery thereof and methods of treatment of medical conditions treatable by pulmonary delivery of the isolated bioactive agent.
Electronic cigarette
An electronic cigarette includes a battery assembly, an atomizer assembly and a cigarette bottle assembly. An external thread electrode is located in one end of battery assembly. An internal thread electrode is located in one end of atomizer assembly. The battery assembly and the atomizer assembly are connected by the screwthread electrode. The cigarette bottle assembly is inserted into the other end of the atomizer assembly and both form a cigarette type or cigar type body.
ATOMIZING HEAD, ATOMIZER AND ELECTRONIC CIGARETTE THEREOF
Provided are an atomizing head (1), an atomizer (100) and an electronic cigarette. The atomizing head (1) comprises a shell (12) provided with a liquid inlet (121) and an inner cavity (17), and an atomizing head base (81) provided with an air inlet channel (151), where the liquid inlet (121) and the air inlet channel (151) are both in communication with the inner cavity (17); a bottom end of the shell (12) is fixedly connected to the atomizing head base (81); an elastic element (16) encloses an air outlet end of the air inlet channel (151); the elastic element (16) has a first state and a second state; in the first state, the air inlet channel (151) is in communication with the inner cavity (17); and in the second state, the air inlet channel (151) and the inner cavity (17) are blocked up against each other.
METHODS, DEVICES AND SYSTEMS FOR PULMONARY DELIVERY OF ACTIVE AGENTS
Provided herein is a method of pulmonary delivering to a subject at least one pharmacologically active agent being in a plant material, which is effected by pulmonary delivering the agent to the subject using a metered dose inhaler device that is configured to vaporize at least one pre-determined vaporized amount of the agent upon controllably heating the plant material, wherein the pre-determined vaporized amount is selected so as to achieve at least one pre-determined pharmacokinetic effect and/or at least one pre-determined pharmacodynamic effect induced by the agent in the subject.
VAPORIZER APPARATUS
Vaporizers apparatuses, including cartridges and vaporizers having elongate and flattened (anti-roll) bodies as well as fluid-level windows formed between the cartridge and the vaporizer in which the cartridge is mechanically coupled to the vaporizer.
Cartridges for use with a vaporizer device are provided. In some implementations, a cartridge comprises a storage compartment, a mouthpiece, a wicking material, and a heating element. The storage compartment is configured to hold a vaporizable material and has a distal end, a proximal end opposite the distal end, and a compartment side extending between the distal end and the proximal end. The mouthpiece encloses the proximal end of the storage compartment and has a side adjacent to the compartment side. The mouthpiece has a notch extending away from the edge of the mouthpiece toward the end of the mouthpiece, exposing a region of the compartment side. The wicking material is proximate to the storage compartment, disposed to contact the vaporizable material. The heating element is proximate to the storage compartment, is in contact with the wicking material, and is configured to generate an aerosol from the vaporizable material.
Securely attaching cartridges for vaporizer devices
