Vaporizer Pod
A vaporizer pod for use in a vaporizer is shown and described herein. The vaporizer pod defines a one-way channel therethrough, extending from a bottom end of the vaporizer pod to a top end. The vaporizer pod may include a valve disposed at the top end and a valve disposed at the bottom end, whereby the valves open the one-way channel as the user draws air through the vaporizer. The valves rest against and close a plurality of air channels to prevent the vaporizer liquid or wax from spilling out of the pod when the user is not drawing air through the vaporizer. The vaporizer pod may be reusable or disposable, whereby the reusable vaporizer pod includes a main body split into an upper and lower tube which the user may pull apart to load vaping material into the vaporizer pod. The disposable vaporizer pod includes a unitary main body.
Vaporization device systems and methods
Vaporizer devices and apparatuses are provided. In some implementations, a vaporizer device comprises a cartridge and a device body. The cartridge comprises a cartridge body having a first side and a second side opposite the first side, a first pair of heater contacts comprising a first plate coupled to the first side and a second plate coupled to the second side, and a heater comprising a wick, a resistive heating element in contact with the wick, the first plate, and the second plate. The wick and resistive heating element are suspended between the first plate and the second plate. The device body comprises a cartridge receptacle for receiving the cartridge and a second pair of heater contacts positioned to couple with the first pair of heater contacts when the cartridge is inserted into the device body.
Cartridge for use with a vaporizer device
Methods of fabricating a cartridge are provided. In some implementations, a method comprises forming a storage compartment having a first end and a second end opposite the first end, attaching a mouthpiece to the storage compartment at the second end, and attaching a heater at the first end. The storage compartment is configured to hold a vaporizable material. The heater comprises a heating element, a first plate positioned proximate to a first side of the storage compartment, and a second plate positioned proximate to a second side of the storage compartment. The first plate is coupled to the heating element and attached proximate to the first end, and the second plate is coupled to the heating element and attached proximate to the first end. The first plate and the second plate define a volume therebetween with at least a portion of the heating element disposed within the volume.
AEROSOL GENERATOR
An aerosol generator for generating an aerosol from a fluid, comprising: a vibratable membrane having a first side for being in contact with the fluid and an opposite second side, the membrane having a plurality of through holes penetrating the membrane in an extension direction from the first side to the second side, whereby the fluid passes the through holes from the first side to the second side when the membrane is vibrated for generating the aerosol at the second side, each through hole having along its extension direction a smallest diameter, a larger diameter that is larger than the smallest diameter and defined by that diameter that is closest to triple, preferably twice said smallest diameter, each through hole having a nozzle portion defined by that continuous portion of the through hole in the extension direction comprising the smallest diameter of the through hole and bordered by the larger diameter of the through hole, wherein the ratio of the total length of each through hole in the extension direction to the length of a respective one of said nozzle portions in the extension direction is at least 4, preferably at least 4.5 and most preferred equal to or larger than 5.
Vaporization device systems and methods
Vaporizer devices and apparatuses are provided. In some implementations, a cartridge comprises a storage compartment holding a vaporizable material, a wick in contact with the vaporizable material, a heating element in contact with the wick, a first plate positioned proximate to a first side of the cartridge and coupled to the heating element, and a second plate positioned proximate to a second side of the cartridge and coupled to the heating element, the first side opposite the second side. The heating element is configured to heat the vaporizable material to generate an aerosol comprising particles having diameters of an average size of about one micron or less. The first plate and the second plate define a volume therebetween, and at least a portion of the heating element is positioned within the volume.
Device for storing and vaporizing liquid
In accordance with one aspect of the present invention there is provided an electronic smoking device, having an outer tube mounted around at least a portion of an inner tube. The outer tube can have an outer surface and an inner surface. The inner tube can have an inner surface defining an air path and an outer surface. An annular liquid storage tank is defined between the outer surface of the inner tube and the inner surface of the outer tube. A heater enclosure can define a heater coil chamber. A heater coil can be mounted at least partially within the heater enclosure. A wick can include a first end portion. The wick can extend through a center of the heater coil and the first end portion can extend into a first wick bore in a first wall of the heater enclosure.
ELECTRONIC CIGARETTE
An electronic cigarette includes a battery assembly and an atomizer assembly within a housing with the battery assembly electrically connected to the atomizer assembly. The housing has one or more air inlets. A liquid storage component is in contact with a porous component of the atomizer assembly, with the porous component having a run-through hole. A heating wire is in an air flow path through the run-through hole.
ELECTRONIC CIGARETTE
An electronic cigarette includes a battery assembly, an atomizer assembly and a cigarette bottle assembly. An external thread electrode is located in one end of battery assembly. An internal thread electrode is located in one end of atomizer assembly. The battery assembly and the atomizer assembly are connected by the screwthread electrode. The cigarette bottle assembly is inserted into the other end of the atomizer assembly and both form a cigarette type or cigar type body.
