LUMINOUS KEYBOARD

A luminous keyboard includes at least one key, a switch circuit board, a supporting plate, a backlight module, a reflecting plate and a light-sheltering plate. The backlight module emits a light beam. The backlight module is arranged between the reflecting plate and the light-sheltering plate. A periphery region of the reflecting plate and a periphery region of the light-sheltering plate are thermally laminated or laser welded to define a sealed structure. Since the periphery region of the backlight module is sealed by the sealed structure, the light beam is not leaked out through the periphery region of the backlight module. The space occupied by the sealed structure is not very large. Consequently, the volume of the luminous keyboard is reduced.

Push switch

A push switch includes a movable contact including a dome part that is shaped like a dome and configured to be inverted in shape when pressed, and a fixed contact including a first fixed contact, the movable contact being configured to be brought into contact with and away from the first fixed contact. The push switch is configured such that an operating load necessary to press the movable contact gradually increases after the movable contact starts to be pressed, decreases thereafter when the dome part is inverted, and increases again when the movable contact is further pressed, and the dome part contacts the first fixed contact after an inflection point at which the decreased operating load starts to increase again.

CONTROL DEVICES HAVING INDEPENDENTLY SUSPENDED BUTTONS FOR CONTROLLED ACTUATION

A control device includes a button assembly having one or more buttons and a button carrier that includes a plurality of resilient, independently deflectable spring arms. The control device may be configured as a wall-mounted keypad to control a load control device, or as a thermostat to control a temperature regulation appliance. The button carrier may be configured to prevent interference between the buttons during operation of the control device. The button assembly may be captured between a faceplate of the control device and a housing that is attached to a rear side of the faceplate. The control device may include one or more button retainers that are attached to the buttons and that are configured to align respective outer surfaces of the buttons relative to each other, and relative to the faceplate of the control device, when the buttons are in respective rest positions.

A slim-type key structure includes a keycap, a base plate, a scissors-type connecting element, a membrane circuit board, a metal dome and a positioning plate. The keycap can be pressed. The scissors-type connecting element is located under the keycap. The membrane circuit board is disposed on the base plate. The metal dome is disposed on the membrane circuit board. In response to a pressing force, the metal dome is subjected to a compressed deformation to press the membrane circuit board. When the pressing force is released, a restoring force is generated and the metal dome is restored to an original shape in response to the restoring force. The positioning plate includes a pressing post. The pressing post is aligned with a center of the metal dome and a center of the keycap. The positioning plate is fixed on the metal dome through an adhesive.
