Pushbutton switch with light-transmitting indicia on the pushbutton
An illuminated pushbutton for a pushbutton switch having a light transmitting pushbutton and an indicia cover that is attached to a front end of the light transmitting pushbutton. The indicia cover has non-light transmitting regions and light transmitting regions on its front surface, wherein the light transmitting regions provide visible, light-transmitted indicia on the light transmitting pushbutton. The indicia cover has an adhesive on its rear surface to attach the indicia cover to the front end of the light transmitting pushbutton. An LED in the pushbutton switch is constructed to transmit light to the indicia cover. The light passes through the light transmitting regions (symbols and letters) but not through the non-light transmitting regions. As the light passes through the light transmitting symbols and letters, the symbols and letters are lighted and visible in the dark.
Knob structure for electromagnetic oven
A knob structure for an electromagnetic oven includes a knob switch assembly. The knob switch assembly consists of a sleeve button, a rotary encoder, a bracket of a display screen, and a control assembly. The knob switch assembly is connected to a printed circuit board through a through hole. A guide rib is disposed around a circumference of the through hole. The display screen with a protection assembly disposed outside is integrated with the knob switch assembly. The guide rib effectively prevents water from entering inside of the electromagnetic oven, lengthens a service life of the electromagnetic oven, and facilitates cleaning. The knob switch assembly integrated with the display screen realizes miniaturization and reduces a cost. The protection assembly ensures a display effect of the display screen.
Input device and pointing unit
An input device and a pointing unit are provided. The input device includes button structures, a light-emitting member, a base plate, and a pointing unit. The light-emitting member is arranged under the button structures. The base plate located between the button structures and the light-emitting member has a body and a first extension portion, wherein the first extension portion extends from the body toward the light-emitting member. The pointing unit is disposed between at least two button structures corresponding to the first extension portion.
Control device of push-button type with flat architecture
A push-button with a receptacle and a cover plate, an actuating button actuatable in translation between two positions, a rest position and a pushed-in position, the cover plate being arranged at the periphery of the actuating button, a device for guiding the actuating button in translation between the two positions, and a return device for returning the actuating button from the pushed-in position toward the rest position. The guiding device include at least a pin including a bent rod shaped to have a first part pivotally mounted on a fastening unit of the actuating button and a second part pivotally mounted on a fastening unit of the cover plate, and the return device are designed to act on the pin by mechanical or magnetic effect.
Electronic devices having keys with coherent fiber bundles
An electronic device may have a reconfigurable keyboard. The keyboard may be formed from an array of keys coupled to a housing. Each key may have a movable key member and an associated key display. Control circuitry in the keyboard may direct the key displays to display dynamically adjustable key labels for the keys. Each key movable key member may be formed from a fiber optic plate. The fiber optic plate may be formed from a coherent fiber bundle with opposing first and second surfaces. The first surface may be adjacent to the key display and may receive key label images from the key display. The second surface may face outwardly towards a user and may receive key press input from the fingers of a user while presenting key label images for viewing.
KEY MODULE
A key module including a base, a circuit layer, at least one light-transmission key body, and a display panel is provided. The circuit layer is disposed at the base and has at least one input portion. The light-transmission key body has an abutting end and a pressing end opposite to each other. The abutting end abuts the base, and the light-transmission key body is adapted to be pressed downward by taking the abutting end as a rotation axis, such that the pressing end presses the input portion. The display panel is disposed at the base and has at least one display region, the display region is aligned with the light-transmission key body, and an image displayed on the display region by the display panel is changeable.
LIGHT-EMITTING KEYBOARD AND BACKLIGHT MODULE
A light-emitting keyboard is provided, including a bracket with at least one opening, a keycap, a circuit layer, a light guide plate, and a composite light-emitting layer. The keycap is connected to the bracket via a support assembly. The circuit layer is disposed between the keycap and the bracket. The light guide plate is disposed under the bracket. The composite light-emitting layer disposed under the bracket has a light-shielding pattern. The composite light-emitting layer includes a light-transmitting substrate, a first circuit, a first light source, and a first passivation layer. The first circuit is disposed on one side of the light-transmitting substrate. The first light source is disposed on one side of the light-transmitting substrate and electrically connected to the first circuit. The first passivation layer covers the first circuit, and at least a portion of the first circuit is located between the first passivation layer and the light-transmitting substrate.
Including one or more lenses in individual keys of a keyboard to focus light
In some examples, a computing device may include a first housing coupled to a second housing. The first housing may include a first set of components including a display device. The second housing may include a second set of components including a keyboard and a light source that emits light. An individual key of the keyboard may include one or more lenses. The one or more lenses may focus the light towards an area below an individual keycap of the individual key. For example, the one or more lenses may be integrated into a scissor mechanism of the individual key. The keycap may include an opaque material into which is embedded a character or a symbol made of a transparent or translucent material through which the light is visible.
