Illuminated keyswitch structure

An illuminated keyswitch structure includes a base plate, a drive circuit board under the base plate, a spacer between the drive circuit board and the base plate, and a light-emitting part on the circuit board. The spacer has a through hole communicating with an opening of the base plate in a vertical direction. The sidewall of the through hole is opaque. The light-emitting part is located in the through hole, and falls within a projection of the opening in the vertical direction. The light-emitting part has a top surface that is lower than or equal to a bottom surface of the base plate in the vertical direction. The structure of the illuminated keyswitch structure around the light-emitting part can keep flat by the spacer. The spacer can prevent the light-emitting part from structurally entering the opening, avoiding structural interference between the light-emitting part and other components above the base plate.

Key structure

A key structure includes a keycap, a connection assembly, engaging members, and a base plate. The connection assembly disposed between the base plate and the keycap is movably connected to the keycap and the engaging members, so that the keycap and the connection assembly engaged with the engaging members are positioned on the base plate. The base plate includes engaging protrusions protruding from an upper surface, so that the engaging members are bonded to the base plate through the engaging protrusions. Each engaging protrusion is located between two openings of the base plate, connects the two openings, or is disposed corresponding to the openings. Each engaging member covers one or more engaging protrusions through injection molding, and is fixed to the base plate. The engaging members are respectively disposed on the openings, fill the openings, or completely cover the engaging protrusions.

An illuminating device including a circuit board, a first light emitting member, a housing, a transparent support member, a light diffusing member, and a light guide member is provided. The first light emitting member is disposed on the top surface of the circuit board to emit light. The housing is disposed to cover the circuit board from above, and has a symbol configured to be illuminated by the light. The support member is disposed under the housing. A first surface of the support member is shaped to conform to the bottom surface of the housing and a second surface of the support member is flat. The light diffusing member has a side surface that receives the light, is fixed to the second surface of the support member, and diffuses the light toward the symbol. The light guide member guides the light to the side surface of the light diffusing member.

Keyboard backlight module with light-guide pattern, reflector pattern, and applications thereof

A keyboard backlight module includes a light guide plate, a reflector, a light-emitting device and a first microstructure. The light guide plate has an output surface, a light guide pattern and a bottom surface disposed on an opposite side of the output surface. The light guide pattern is arranged on at least one of the bottom surface and the output surface. The reflector has a reflecting surface facing the bottom surface. The light-emitting device is disposed on one side of the light guide plate and configured to provide an incident light to the reflecting surface. The first microstructure is disposed on the reflecting surface, at least partially overlaps with the light guide pattern, and is configured to transform the incident light into a first reflected light.

Keypad having illuminated buttons

A control device for controlling power delivered to an electrical load may illuminate an area around a button of the control device, such as a gap formed between the button and an opening of a faceplate of the control device. The control device may illuminate the gap to provide a nightlight feature, to provide feedback (e.g., a status of the electrical load), and/or to indicate a selected preset. The button may have a cap portion that may be actuated by a user and a diffuser portion that may contact a rear surface of the cap portion and may conduct light emitted by an internal light source to illuminate the gap around the button.

DEVICE HAVING INTEGRATED INTERFACE SYSTEM

A portable computer includes a display portion comprising a display and a base portion pivotally coupled to the display portion. The base portion may include a bottom case and a top case, formed from a dielectric material, coupled to the bottom case. The top case may include a top member defining a top surface of the base portion and a sidewall integrally formed with the top member and defining a side surface of the base portion. The portable computer may also include a sensing system including a first sensing system configured to determine a location of a touch input applied to the top surface of the base portion and a second sensing system configured to determine a force of the touch input.

Push switch and illuminated switch device

A push switch includes a case, a fixed contact member, a moving contact member, and a protective sheet. The case has a first surface with a recess and a second surface opposite from the first surface. The fixed contact member includes a fixed contact in the recess and a terminal on an outer surface of the case. The moving contact member is in the recess and includes a moving contact to contact with the fixed contact when the switch is subjected to a press operation. The protective sheet covers the recess. The case has a light-transmitting property and has a light incident surface and a light emergent surface. Light is incident on the light incident surface. At least part of the light that has entered through the light incident surface emerges through the light emergent surface.
