The patterned conductive layer is disposed on the light-transmissive insulation layer. The electronic component is disposed on the patterned conductive layer and electrically connected to the patterned conductive layer.
Electronic apparatus having illuminated key tops
An electronic apparatus having key tops that can be illuminated without cooling performance being affected is described. The electronic apparatus includes: a chassis and a keyboard device having a set of key tops; a base plate for supporting the key tops; a membrane sheet laminated on a top surface side of the base plate; a light guide plate laminated on a bottom surface side of the base plate; and a light source module for irradiating the key tops with light via the light guide plate. The keyboard device, which is located on a top surface side of the chassis, includes an inlet port for passing air in a top-bottom direction and a set of individual light sources arranged respectively on bottom surface sides of a part of the key tops that is located to overlap the inlet port.
Control device having buttons with metallic surfaces and backlit indicia
The control device includes a button having a backlit indicium (or indicia) indicating a function of the button. The button may comprise a button body that is translucent and configured to be backlit by a lighting element. A front surface of the button body may be opaque outside of the area of the indicium (or indicia). The button body may have a post that extends from a rear surface of the button body and is aligned with an actuator. The control device may have a plurality of such buttons. Selection of a button by a user, such as by pressing the button, results in the selected button displaying a greater illumination intensity than a button that is not selected.
Input device
An input device includes: a substrate; a first detection electrode that detects input to the input device; a light emitter that emits light when the input is performed; a body plate disposed on the front surface side of the substrate and through which the light is transmitted; and a light guide including an incident surface from which the light enters and a light exit surface from which the light entered from the incident surface exits. A design portion that is light transmissive is disposed on an opposite side of the body plate to the substrate. A penetration hole penetrates through the substrate at a position opposite the design portion. The light guide is disposed in the penetration hole with the incident surface oriented facing a light emitting surface of the light emitter and the light exit surface oriented facing the design portion with the body plate interposed therebetween.
Key structure
A key structure includes a keycap, a connection assembly, engaging members, and a base plate. The connection assembly disposed between the base plate and the keycap is movably connected to the keycap and the engaging members, so that the keycap and the connection assembly engaged with the engaging members are positioned on the base plate. The base plate includes engaging protrusions protruding from an upper surface, so that the engaging members are bonded to the base plate through the engaging protrusions. Each engaging protrusion is located between two openings of the base plate, connects the two openings, or is disposed corresponding to the openings. Each engaging member covers one or more engaging protrusions through injection molding, and is fixed to the base plate. The engaging members are respectively disposed on the openings, fill the openings, or completely cover the engaging protrusions.
Luminous keyboard and backlight module thereof
A luminous keyboard includes a keyboard module and a backlight module. The backlight module is located under the keyboard module. The backlight module includes a light source, a light guide plate and a reflecting plate. The light source includes a conductive substrate and plural light-emitting elements. The light guide plate includes a light input surface, a light exit surface, a bottom surface and a first slot. The light input surface is disposed within the first slot. The reflecting plate is disposed on the bottom surface of the light guide plate. The reflecting plate includes a second slot. The second slot is in communication with the first slot. The conductive substrate is penetrated through the second slot and the first slot. Consequently, the plural light-emitting elements are accommodated within the first slot and aligned with the light input surface.
Keyboard backlight module with light-guide pattern, reflector pattern, and applications thereof
A keyboard backlight module includes a light guide plate, a reflector, a light-emitting device and a first microstructure. The light guide plate has an output surface, a light guide pattern and a bottom surface disposed on an opposite side of the output surface. The light guide pattern is arranged on at least one of the bottom surface and the output surface. The reflector has a reflecting surface facing the bottom surface. The light-emitting device is disposed on one side of the light guide plate and configured to provide an incident light to the reflecting surface. The first microstructure is disposed on the reflecting surface, at least partially overlaps with the light guide pattern, and is configured to transform the incident light into a first reflected light.
Illuminated keyboard and backlight module thereof
A backlight module is adapted to an illuminated keyboard. The backlight module includes a light source assembly and a light guide film. The light guide film has a top surface, a bottom surface, a through hole, a light-incident pattern and a light-exit pattern. The light source assembly includes a light-emitting component configured to emit light toward the through hole. A size of the through hole is smaller than a size of the light-emitting component. The light-incident pattern is located on at least one of the top surface and the bottom surface. The light-exit pattern is located on the bottom surface. A distance from the through hole to the light-exit pattern is greater than a distance from the through hole to the light-incident pattern.
Illuminated keyboard
A computer keyboard is provide which includes key members providing upward and downward movement; substantially translucent elastomeric domes underlying the key members, and a seat underlies the elastomeric domes for supporting the elastomeric domes and key members. A substantially translucent circuit board is positioned under the seat for the creation and transmission of signals indicating depression of the key members. A planar luminescent light source is positioned under the circuit board. Preferably, the luminescent light source is a translucent light pipe connected to LEDs which provide light. Also preferably, the light pipe has a flat bottom surface which is covered by one or more reflective members and a reflective sheet. The reflective members may comprise paint applied to the bottom surface of the light pipe.
User programmable pushbutton breaker switch
A programmable pushbutton breaker switch having a pushbutton, a plurality of amperage indicating light emitting diodes (LEDs), a plurality of breaker circuits, and a plurality of LED light pipes in an interior of the pushbutton. Each of the LEDs is associated with a specific breaker circuit and with a specific light pipe. Light from a specific LED passes through a specific LED light pipe and produces an indicator light on the top of the pushbutton. The indicator light identifies an amperage amount, shown on the top of the pushbutton, of a specific breaker circuit. A programming switch inside the programmable pushbutton breaker switch allows the operation of the pushbutton to select a desired breaker amperage amount from a plurality of breaker amperage amounts shown on the top of the pushbutton and to set and store the desired amperage amounts in the programmable pushbutton breaker switch.
