LIGHT BLOCKERS
In an example, a light blocker may comprise a bellow to extend from an outer edge of a key to an inner edge of a key window to span a key gap in between the key and the key window. The bellow may extend along a periphery of the key, and the bellow may block light originating from under the key from passing through the key gap.
Keyswitch assembly and manufacturing method thereof
A keyswitch assembly and a manufacturing method thereof are disclosed. The keyswitch assembly includes a display unit, a carrier, one or more contact pads, a light-shielding layer, and a transparent keycap. The display unit includes one or more display regions. The carrier is for carrying the display unit. The contact pads are on the carrier and are electrically connected to the display regions. The light-shielding layer is positioned corresponding to the display regions. The light-shielding layer includes one or more transparent patterns. The transparent patterns are positioned respectively corresponding to the display regions. The transparent keycap is positioned on the display unit.
KEY STRUCTURE
A key structure including a bottom plate, a pivoting structure, a cap, a thin-film circuit board and a dome structure is provided. The bottom plate has a limiting unit. The pivoting structure is slidably disposed on the bottom plate and includes a first pivoting member and a second pivoting member. The cap is disposed on the pivoting structure and connects the pivoting structure. The cap moves with respect to the bottom plate up and down through the rotation of the first pivoting member with respect to the second pivoting member. The thin-film circuit board is disposed on the bottom plate and includes a switch element. The dome structure is disposed against between the pivoting structure and the thin-film circuit board and includes a metal dome located above the switch element.
Backlighting for a button assembly and method
A button assembly is described. The button assembly includes a button that includes a translucent interior material and an opaque front surface with at least one aperture through which light can pass. The button assembly also includes a light guide that includes a light transmitting material and a reflector. The light guide is a molded part where the light transmitting material is molded with the reflector as an integral part of the light guide. The light guide provides illumination to a back surface of the button.
Low profile switch panel assembly
A switch panel for an aircraft includes a cover and aback plate. A distance from the cover to the back plate is a thickness of the switch panel. In some cases, the thickness is less than about 9.525 mm. A button assembly for a switch panel for an aircraft includes a button base, a button retainer, and a lens. The button base includes a bottom end, a base side, and a transition portion between the bottom end and the base side. In certain cases, the transition portion of the button base is beveled or radiused with a sloped or concave shape.
Keyboard unit and electronic apparatus including coupler and support member
A keyboard unit includes: keytops; a baseplate supporting the keytops; a light-emitting module having a light guide plate, a first reflective sheet covering a top surface of the light guide plate, and a second reflective sheet covering a bottom surface of the light guide plate, the light-emitting module being stacked on a bottom surface of the baseplate; and a hole penetrating the light-emitting module vertically. The light-emitting module includes: at a periphery of the hole, a light-shielding portion where the first and second reflective sheets are in contact with each other, the light-shielding portion covering an edge of the light guide plate; and an adhesive portion located closer to the hole than the light-shielding portion, and at the adhesive portion, the second reflective sheet covering an edge of the first reflective sheet and the second reflective sheet adhering to a bottom surface of the baseplate.
ELECTRONIC APPARATUS COMPRISING AT LEAST ONE LUMINOUS BUTTON AND METHOD FOR ASSEMBLING SUCH AN APPARATUS
The invention relates to an electronic apparatus (1) comprising a chassis (2) inserted into a housing (10) having a face (11) parallel to the direction (D) of insertion of the chassis in the housing and provided with push buttons (20.1, 20.2, 20.3) provided with light guides (23.1, 23.2, 23.3) projecting into the housing. An electronic board (3) is mounted in the chassis so as to extend parallel to said face of the housing and is provided with switches (5.1, 5.2, 5.3) in order to interact with the push buttons and light sources (6.1, 6.2, 6.3) surrounded by a light-tight frame (7.1, 7.2, 7.3) receiving the free end of the light guides. The light-tight frame has a height which decreases in a direction of separation from the chassis and the light guides have a height which decreases in the opposite direction so as only to be in contact with one another once the chassis has been completely inserted into the housing. The invention also relates to a method for assembling such an apparatus.
Luminous keyboard
A luminous keyboard includes plural keys and a backlight module under the plural keys. The backlight module includes a light-shading plate, a light guide plate and a reflecting plate, which are sequentially stacked on each other from top to bottom. The light-shading plate includes a first cutting hole and a first cutting hole periphery around the first cutting hole. The light guide plate includes a perforation. The reflecting plate includes a second cutting hole and a second cutting hole periphery around the second cutting hole. A top surface of the second cutting hole periphery is attached on a bottom surface of the first cutting hole periphery through the perforation. While an object is penetrated through the first cutting hole and the second cutting hole, the object is closely covered by the first cutting hole periphery and the second cutting hole periphery in response to an elastic restoring force.
KEYBOARD DEVICE
A keyboard device includes a wiring board with plural key switches, plural key structures corresponding to the plural key switches, and an anti-ghosting unit. Each of the plural key structures includes a keycap, a scissors-type connecting element and a light-emitting element. The light-emitting element is located under the keycap. At least a part of the scissors-type connecting element is arranged between the keycap and the wiring board. The keycap is movable upwardly or downwardly relative to the wiring board. The anti-ghosting unit is disposed on the wiring board or electrically connected with the wiring board. The anti-ghosting unit is used for avoiding key conflict between at least two of the plural key structures.
