SWITCH OPERATION MECHANISM

A switch operation mechanism includes: a knob configured to be rotatable about a first rotation axis; a rotor configured to be rotatable about a second rotation axis; a first transmission mechanism configured to transmit rotation of the knob to the rotor and including a slide mechanism configured to allow displacement of the knob in a first direction intersecting with the second rotation axis; and a second transmission mechanism configured to convert the displacement of the knob in the first direction into an operation of a switch.

Input device

An input device includes: a rotating member that rotates about a predetermined rotation axis; and a mover that includes a protrusion protruding toward an inner peripheral surface of the rotating member and moves in a direction different from a rotation direction of the rotating member along with rotation of the rotating member. The protrusion protrudes toward an inner peripheral surface of the rotating member. The rotating member includes a first projection and a second projection that project from the inner peripheral surface toward the mover. The protrusion of the mover is inclined with respect to the predetermined rotation axis and disposed between the first projection and the second projection.

Wall-mounted smart switches and outlets for use in building wiring for load control, home automation, and/or security purposes

An electrical switch device features a switch module housing that fits at least partially within an in-wall electrical box. The housing contains electrically controlled switches and has line and neutral contacts carried for each of the electrically controlled switches to enable connection of a different respective load circuit across each electrically controlled switch. A control panel is mountable over an open front of the in-wall electrical box and the housing therein, and has a user-interface for operation of the switch module to control the electrically controlled switches and connected loads. The control panel is sized to fully cover the open front of a multi-gang electrical box, whereby the same switch module and control panel are usable with either a single-gang or multi-gang electrical box without leaving any portion of the open front of the single-gang or multi-gang electrical box uncovered by said control panel.

In one aspect, a switch assembly includes two or more switch modules of different types and comprising different switch module subassemblies. The switch assembly also includes a switch housing having two or more sets of features integrally molded or formed in an underside or interior surface of the switch housing. Each set of features corresponds to a respective one of the different switch module subassemblies and comprises alignment and support features for the respective switch module subassembly.

Adapter assemblies for interconnecting surgical loading units and handle assemblies

A surgical instrument includes a handle assembly, a surgical loading unit, and an adapter assembly coupled therebetween. The adapter assembly includes a housing, an elongated body, a switch assembly, and a switch actuator. The elongated body extends distally from the housing and is configured to be coupled to the surgical loading unit. The switch assembly is disposed within the housing and configured to communicate that the surgical loading unit is coupled to the elongated body. The switch assembly includes a substrate, a switch mounted on the substrate, and at least one wire coupled to the substrate. The switch actuator is movably disposed within the housing and configured to actuate the switch upon engagement of the surgical loading unit with the elongated body.

Fault current limiter arrangement
