Key device
A key device includes a substrate having an assembling area, a keycap, and a restoring member. A pivot coupling member and an elastic arm are provided in the assembling area. The pivot coupling member has a pivot axis, and the elastic arm is extending in a direction parallel to the pivot axis. The elastic arm includes a limiting member protruding out of the substrate. The keycap is disposed above the assembling area. A connection arm is extending from the keycap and includes a pivot portion pivoted with the pivot coupling member, so that the keycap is swingable relative to the substrate. The keycap further includes a limiting groove for detachably fitted with the limiting member. The restoring member is disposed between the substrate and the keycap. The restoring member is adapted to provide a restoring force for swinging the keycap relative to the substrate.
GAMES CONTROLLER AND TRIGGER THEREFOR
Aspects of the disclosure relate to a games controller for controlling electronic games, input device for a computer program and a trigger mechanism therefor. The trigger mechanism comprises a trigger body having a plurality of walls defining an internal chamber. The plurality of walls include a base wall and an orifice defined in the base wall. A detent is detachably mounted on the trigger body. The detent is at least partially received in the orifice and the detent is rotatable with respect to the trigger body. The detent comprises at least one abutment surface which is eccentrically arranged with respect to the rotational axis of the detent.
ELECTRONIC DEVICE COMPRISING DISPLAY WITH SWITCH
An electronic device according to an embodiment of the present disclosure may include: a housing including a first plate and a second plate, wherein the first plate includes an opening; a display panel at least partially exposed through the opening and including a touch sensor; a first support member coupled to the display panel and a portion of the first plate along at least part of one side of the opening; and a switch device configured to be actuated according to a depression of the display panel, the depression caused by a downward force exerted on an upper portion of the display panel. Other various embodiments are also possible.
ELECTRIC CONTROL MECHANISM, AND AN AIRCRAFT
An electrical control mechanism having a support. A central body that is movable in rotation about a central axis of rotation (AXROTC) carries a button that is movable in rotation relative to the central body about an offset axis of rotation (AXROTD) parallel to the central axis of rotation (AXROTC). First return means are interposed between the central body and the button, with second return means being interposed between the central body and the support. Two primary electric switches are interposed between the button and the central body on either side of a plane containing the central axis of rotation (AXROTC) and the offset axis of rotation (AXROTD). Two secondary electric switches are interposed between the support and the central body on either side of the plane.
Voice Responsive In-Wall Device
Voice responsive in-wall devices are provided. In one example implementation, a power switch includes a housing mountable on or at least partially within a surface. The housing can have a front panel. The power switch can include an interface element disposed on the front panel and operable to receive a user input. The power switch can include a power interrupter operable to control power delivery to the powered load based at least in part on interaction with the interface element. The power switch can include one or more microphones operable to obtain audio input. The power switch can include one or more speakers configured to provide audio output. The power switch can include a communications interface operable to communicate data associated with the audio input over a communication link.
LOW-TRAVEL KEY MECHANISMS USING BUTTERFLY HINGES
A key mechanism including one or more butterfly hinges. Each butterfly hinge may include a double wing design operative to move between a depressed position and non-depressed position. Hinged coupling mechanisms couple respective arms of the wings together. Additionally or alternatively, a key mechanism can include one or more half-butterfly hinges. Each half-butterfly hinge includes a double wing design operative to move between a depressed position and non-depressed position. A hinged coupling mechanism couples one set of corresponding arms of the wings together, while the other set of corresponding arms are not coupled together.
Remote handgrip switch
A grip for a firearm having a controllable accessory has a first axis aligned with a long axis of the firearm and a second axis transverse the first axis. The grip includes an elongated switch lever having a pivot end and a controlled end, the elongated switch lever having a long axis aligned with the second axis of the grip and coupled at the controlled end to a thumb pad extending beyond a main body of the grip, a pivot disposed at the pivot end of the elongated switch lever about which the elongated switch lever may rotate, and a switch mounted in the grip adjacent to the elongated switch lever and configured to change states when the thumb pad is depressed.
Wall-mounted smart switches and outlets for use in building wiring for load control, home automation, and/or security purposes
A plurality of nodes installed throughout a building each include a wall-mounted unit supported by an in-wall electrical box, a connection inside said in-wall electrical box between the wall-mounted unit and the building's mains-power wiring system, and a power line communications transceiver for communication with the other nodes through the mains-power wiring system. The nodes includes respective speakers, and are operable in a music playing mode in which music data is streamed over the mains-power wiring system to two or more nodes in different rooms of the building for simultaneous audio playback therein.
