Sweat diverter
Described herein are sweat-diverting devices which can be adhered to a wearer by an adhesive. The sweat-diverting devices described here may be adhered over a portion of the face without circumscribing the head. Such sweat-diverting devices may comprise one or more curves or other features that conform to the facial features of the wearer. In some variations, a sweat-diverting device is configured to be worn at various heights on the forehead, over or under the brow line, and/or over the eyes. A sweat-diverting device can also be used in pairs, for example, where one device is positioned over each eye. Sun-shading devices, with or without sweat-diverting features, are also described.

Head Covering With Removable Liner
A liner for a hat and a hat with a liner is provided comprising a smooth material sewn together, according to a pattern, covering an interior portion of the hat. An attachment apparatus removably attaching the liner to the interior of the hat is included on the hat and liner. The hair of the hat wearer is thereby protected from damage and breakage while wearing the hat.

Sweat Band System
A sweat band system for inhibiting a hat from being soiled with sweat includes a hat that has a sweatband. A belt is removably coupled to the hat and the belt is coextensive with the sweatband. The belt is positioned between the sweatband and the user's head thereby inhibiting sweat from contacting the hat.

Flexible Fit Cap with Memory Foam Headband
A cap configured to be worn on a wearer's head includes a crown characterized by a substantially elliptical opening that has a circumference and one or more radii normal to the circumference, a bill connected to the crown, and a substantially elliptical sweatband connected to the crown. The sweatband has a front portion that is compliant in a radial direction and a back portion that is flexible in an axial direction. The front portion includes a front contact layer configured to be in contact with the wearer's head, a concealed backing layer adjacent to the crown, and a compliant layer between the front contact layer and the concealed backing layer. The compliant layer is compliant in the radial direction. The back portion has a rear contact layer configured to be in contact with the wearer's head and a concealed support layer.

Structural lattice and method of making same
The present invention is directed to a stabilized cross-linked hydrogel matrix comprising a first high molecular weight component and a second high molecular weight component that are covalently linked, and at least one stabilizing or enhancing agent, wherein the first high molecular weight component and the second high molecular weight component are each selected from the group consisting of polyglycans and polypeptides. This stabilized hydrogel matrix may be prepared as bioactive gels, pastes, slurries, cell attachment scaffolds for implantable medical devices, and casting or binding materials suitable for the construction of medical devices. The intrinsic bioactivity of the hydrogel matrix makes it useful as a gel or paste in multiple applications, including as a cell attachment scaffold that promotes wound healing around an implanted device, as gels and pastes for induction of localized vasculogenesis, wound healing, tissue repair, and regeneration, as a wound adhesive, and for tissue bulking.
