Apparatus (10,226,326) for condensing water from respiratory gases, comprising a heat exchange component (20,234,334) having an inlet (22,228,328), an outlet (24,228,230) and a condensation chamber, the inlet and outlet (22,24,228,230,328,330) being connectable to a breathing system, such that respiratory gases are conveyed through the condensation chamber, in use, and a base unit (30,232,332) adapted to aid removal of heat from the walls of the heat exchange component (20,234,334), wherein the heat exchange component (20,234,334) is releasably engageable with the base unit (30,232,332), such that the heat exchange component (20,234,334) is replaceable.

A patient monitoring, feeding, and mechanical breathing system, the system including an endotracheal probe including a first longitudinal member connected to a first camera and a semi-rigid longitudinal member inserted in an ET tube such that the first camera is aligned with a tip of the ET tube; an OG probe including a second longitudinal member configured to be inserted in an oral gastro (OG) tube, the second longitudinal member including a side camera, configured to be placed facing a window of the OG tube, wherein the side camera includes a tapered side; an enhanced OG probe, including a second camera and a motion sensor placed at the tip of the enhanced OG tube; a device communicatively coupled to the endotracheal, OG and enhanced OG probes, and having a screen configured to display images from any of the first camera, the side camera, and the second camera.

Apparatus (2) for use with a laryngeal mask airway device (4), wherein the apparatus is configured to collect regurgitated fluid from a patient during use of the laryngeal mask airway device, wherein the apparatus is adapted for attachment to a gastric port (8) provided on the laryngeal mask airway device.

A courier airway device includes a tubular structure that defines a central channel through which a medical diagnostic or therapeutic device can be inserted. The tubular structure also defines a ventilation duct for providing gases from a controlled ventilation machine to a patient. A cuff is attached to the central channel. Characteristically, the cuff is an inflatable balloon-like ring.

An endoscopy device for facilitating the use of an endoscope, comprising at least one airway tube and a mask carried at one end of the at least one airway rube, the mask having a distal end and a proximal end and a peripheral formation capable of conforming to, and of fitting within, the actual and potential space behind the larynx of the patient so as to form a seal around the circumference of the laryngeal inlet, the peripheral formation surrounding a hollow interior space or lumen of the mask and the at least one airway tube opening into the lumen of the mask, the device further comprising a conduit adapted for passage of an endoscope into the oesophagus of a patient when the mask is in place.

A respiratory mask can be used to provide therapy to patients who also require a nasogastric (NG) tube. The mask seal can include a path that is designed to deform around an NG tube or other without lifting the mask away from a patient's face. The deforming path can help to minimize gaps that form between the patient's face and the mask seal as a result of the tube, thus reducing leaks and improving the efficacy of the treatment.

Airway devices, systems, and methods are disclosed that can achieve ventilation of lungs through a mask that seals around the glottis and connects to a flexible airway channel, while also providing evacuation of gastric and/or pharyngeal body fluid and/or blood during upper airway surgeries or procedures.
