The cover is connected to an interior of the crown and the flexible edge of the cover is positioned in fixed spaced separation from the edge of the crown. The loop and cover connect in proximity to a rear seam of the crown. The loop has a first edge and an opposed second edge that define a through aperture between the first edge and the second edge. An opening is defined between the second edge of the loop and the edge of the cover. The opening provides access to the cover, crown and loop of the cap. The loop second edge and the edge of the crown define a relative angle of the opening.

The head garment has a frame including an elongated member, the frame including a loop portion that extends upward and forward from a rear portion that includes a tail, the loop portion including a rim, a veil having a rear portion that is connected to the rear portion of the frame and a front portion that is connected to the rim. The tension in the portion of the veil that spans between the connection to the rear portion of the frame and to the rim provides support for the rim, and the front portion of the veil extends beyond and drapes downward from the rim. The head garment is usable with a ventilation system and/or an electronic device and may be folded for stowing in a container.

The head garment is usable with a ventilation system and/or an electronic device and may be folded for stowing in a container.

Helmet with vent opening control

A helmet includes a shell defining a ventilation aperture passing from the outer surface of the shell to the inner surface of the shell. A ventilation control is secured to the inner surface of the shell. The ventilation control is configured to be reversibly displaced between a first position blocking a flow of air through the ventilation aperture and a second position permitting flow of air through the ventilation aperture. The ventilation control is configured to be reversibly displaced between the first position and the second position by a force applied upon an outer surface of the ventilation control opposite to the inner surface of the shell from within an internal volume of the helmet.
