A surgical technique, non-invasively and safely and quickly inserting a T-shaped tube into a stenotic trachea, is capable of replacing a traditional rigid bronchoscope with a harmless fiber bronchoscope dispense with additional surgical wound incision, utilization of an existing tracheostoma combined with the available guiding materials, the T-shaped tube can be readily inserted into the trachea; therefore, the surgical technique, non-invasively and safely and quickly inserting the T-shaped tube into the stenotic trachea elucidated in the invention is capable of safely and quickly manuvering patients with obvious subglottic stenosis to improve the prognosis without additional neck wound incision.

Adjustable tracheostoma valve and heat and moisture exchanger
11173267 · 2021-11-16 · ·

An adjustable tracheostoma valve includes a housing having a first opening that is adapted to open to a tracheostoma and a second opening that opens to ambient. The housing includes a lower housing portion defining the first opening and an upper housing portion movably attached to the lower housing portion and defining the second opening. A closure member is disposed in the housing and adapted to close the second opening. A flexible membrane includes a first region connected to the closure member and a plurality of spiral shaped legs extending from the first region and connected to the housing. The upper and lower housings are axially adjustable relative to one another to adjust an amount of air flow through the valve that would cause closure of the closure member. A heat and moisture exchanger is disposed in the housing between the first opening and the second opening.

RESPIRATORY INTERFACE

A seal assembly for a respiratory interface, the seal assembly comprising a seal portion configured to form a seal with at least a portion of a user's face, the seal portion comprising a bladder having an internal volume that contains a shear thinning material; and a volume adjuster for adjusting the internal volume of the bladder. Alternatively, the seal assembly comprising a frame; two nasal prongs connected to the frame, each prong comprising a seal portion configured to form a seal with a portion of the user's nares and a flow path extending through the seal portion for delivery of respiratory gas to a user's nare; wherein the seal portion comprises a bladder that contains a shear thinning material.

System and method for a tracheostomy tube with a secondary airflow opening and a dual cuff assembly
11744972 · 2023-09-05 ·

A cuff assembly for a tracheostomy tube includes an outer bladder and an inner cuff. The inner cuff is positioned adjacent to the tracheostomy tube, and the outer bladder is positioned adjacent to the inner cuff. The outer bladder is made with a less elastic material and operates at a higher relative pressure. The inner cuff is made with a more elastic or hyper-elastic material and operates at a lower relative pressure. A secondary airflow opening is formed on a lateral wall of the tracheostomy tube between the cuff assembly and a main distal opening of the tracheostomy tube.

MASK FOR PREVENTING WATER FROM ENTERING TRACHEAL STOMA
20230338685 · 2023-10-26 ·

A mask for preventing water from entering a tracheal stoma comprises a neck hanging part and a mask body connected with the neck hanging part. The mask body is worn on a tracheostomy patient through the neck hanging part. A concave space is formed on an inner side of the mask body, a plurality of air vents communicating with the concave space are formed in a lower half of an outer side of the mask body, and a plurality of inclined retaining walls are respectively located in the concave space and respectively connected to a top edge of each of the air vents, and the inclined retaining wall is capable of preventing the concave space from being seen when viewed directly through the air vents of the mask body. The mask of the invention is capable of greatly reducing a risk of water entering the tracheal stoma.

Visual laryngeal mask

The present invention provides an improved visual laryngeal mask comprising a tube, an end of the tube is provided with a fixing seat. The fixing seat is provided with an airbag, and the fixing seat has a recess which is provided with an airway opening. An imaging cavity extends longitudinally inside an inner wall of the tube. The imaging cavity has a built-in imaging device, and the imaging cavity protrudes forward relative to the airway opening to form a stopper which prevents an epiglottis from blocking the imaging device. A front end of the stopper is concaved to form a recess, and an opening of the imaging cavity is located at a low point of the recess.
