A system is disclosed that includes a breathing apparatus, a touch screen unit and a processing unit. A first content (30) is displayed at a first screen location (30) of the touch screen. Upon a user input, comprising a gesture (35) of one or more gestures, at the first screen location (31), a second content related to the first content (30) is selected and displayed in dependence of the gesture (35) and the first content (30). The first content (30) is free of an indication of the second content, such as an indication comprised in the list of an icon, soft-button or a menu configured to activate the second content upon user selection on the touch screen.

PORTABLE REBREATHING SYSTEM WITH STAGED ADDITION OF OXYGEN ENRICHMENT
20210121649 · 2021-04-29 · ·

The invention is related to a portable rebreathing system for closed rebreathing. In order to minimize consumption of oxygen during rebreathing mode while safeguarding correct oxygen concentration, oxygen is added into the breathing passage using staged addition of oxygen via at least three individual oxygen supply valves 51, 52, 53. The two first oxygen supply valves are calibrated nozzles where one nozzle 51 is constantly delivering a predetermined amount of oxygen during normal breathing and the second nozzle 52 adds more oxygen at a second predetermined amount when the person to be treated is breathing heavily. The third valve is only opened manually and delivers a short burst of oxygen that fills the rebreathing system and its counter lung within seconds.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR PROVIDING CONCENTRATED OXYGEN TO A USER

The embodiments of the present disclosure provide a portable oxygen concentrator. The portable oxygen concentrator may comprise an input configured to receive airflow, an input filter, a compressor configured to compress airflow, a first column comprising a first adsorbent bed, and a second column adjacent to the first column and comprising a second adsorbent bed. The portable oxygen concentrator may further comprise a first output configured to release oxygen to a user, and a second output configured to release waste gas. The first and second adsorbent beds may comprise a plurality of zeolites.

Anesthesia system, a method and a computer-readable medium for actively controlling oxygen delivered to a patient

An anesthesia system has a unit for measuring oxygen concentration delivered to a patient, a unit for sending an alarm to an operator if the measured oxygen concentration is below a first threshold value, and a unit for automatically increasing a setting of oxygen in a fresh gas setting, so that the oxygen concentration delivered to a patient is increased, if the measured oxygen concentration is below a second threshold value. The system allows for increased safety or a lowered fresh gas flow with a maintained safety level.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR NON-INVASIVE VENTILATION

Systems and methods for non-invasive ventilation are provided. The systems may include a gas source that provides breathing gases to a patient through one or more of a primary flow path (PFP) and a flushing flow path (FFP). The system may include a control assembly configured to open and restrict gas flow through the PFP. When the PFP is open, a significant portion of the gas flows through the PFP while the remaining gas flows through the FFP. When the PFP is restricted, a significant portion of the gas flows through the FFP. Increased flow through the FFP may have a high velocity (especially relative to the flow through the PFP). Gas delivered through the FFP may be used to flush dead space. One or both flow paths may contribute to inspiratory positive airway pressure (IPAP), expiratory positive airway pressure (EPAP), and/or positive end expiratory pressure (PEEP).
