Described herein are various embodiments of an oxygen concentrator system and method of delivering oxygen enriched gas to a user. In some embodiments, oxygen concentrator system includes one or more components that improve the efficiency of oxygen enriched gas delivery during operation of the oxygen concentrator system.

WEARABLE DEVICE FOR DELIVERING AIR

A personal entertainment respiratory apparatus provides air to a user to provide a fully immersive entertainment experience. The personal entertainment system may comprise a flow generator for providing the flow of air. A personal spatial respiratory interface may be coupled to the flow generator. The personal spatial respiratory interface may comprise an outlet for the flow generator. The personal spatial respiratory interface may further be configured to direct the flow of air within an ambient breathing proximity of a user. The personal entertainment respiratory apparatus may further comprise a controller and a sensory particle dispenser. The controller and sensory particle dispenser may be configured to selectively activate release of a sensory particle from the dispenser into the directed flow of air in response to an entertainment triggering signal.

RESPIRATOR FOR APAP RESPIRATION USING OSCILLATORY PRESSURE

Disclosed is an autoCPAP respirator which comprises a control unit, a respiration blower and a pressure sensor. The control unit comprises a controller for generating a first control signal, which induces the speed of the blower to generate a pressurized breathing gas flow, a controller for generating a periodically variable control signal, which activates the blower such that the speed of the blower varies in an oscillating manner at a frequency in the range of 1-20 Hz, and a sensor device, which ascertains one or more of instantaneous speed, instantaneous electrical current and instantaneous electrical power of the blower to determine the breathing gas flow and/or breathing gas volume generated by the blower while using characteristic data of the blower stored in a memory.

COUGH-ASSIST SYSTEMS WITH HUMIDIFIER BYPASS

The present technology relates generally to cough-assist devices with humidified cough assistance. In one example, a system includes a cough-assist device having a first phase configured to provide insufflating gas to a patient circuit and a second phase configured to draw exsufflating gas from the patient circuit. A humidifier is disposed between the cough-assist device and a distal end of the patient circuit, the humidifier including a chamber configured to contain heated water and fluidically coupled to the cough-assist device and the patient circuit. The system further includes a bypass configured to (a) direct insufflating gas from the cough-assist device through a first route to the patient circuit such that the insufflating gas is humidified in the chamber, and (b) route exsufflating gas from the patient circuit through a second route to the cough-assist device such that the exsufflating gas bypasses the chamber.

SYSTEM FOR CONTROLLING OF SELF-INFLATING RESUSCITATOR

The self-inflating bag control system is characterized in that it comprises a bag controlling valve which is connected to at least two gas pumps and at least one gas parameter sensor via the gas distribution tubes. It comprises at least one gas pressing device connected to the valve via a gas parameter sensor via gas flow tubes. A control unit with a control panel is connected to the system through a gas sensor, which includes a sub-unit for setting the parameters of the gas flowing into the self-expanding bag, a measuring and analyzing the parameters of the gas flowing in the system by measuring the pressure and volume of the gas from the as parameters sensor, and a warn-alarm sub-unit, which generates a warning and/or alarm signal on the basis of the gas parameters read from the measurement and analysis subunit.

RESPIRATORY THERAPY FILTER, FLOW CONTROL, AND PATIENT INTERFACE APPARATUSES, SYSTEMS, AND METHODS

A nebulizer assembly for a respiratory device is provided having a housing defining a chamber. The housing also has a nebulizer port configured to receive a nebulizer to discharge atomized medication into the chamber. An outlet of a handle is coupled to the inlet of the housing. A hose is coupled to an inlet of the handle. A patient interface is coupled to the outlet of the housing. Air flows from the hose to the patient interface via the handle and the housing. The air mixes with the atomized medication within the chamber.

A pulmonary secretion clearing airway structure and related airway management system is disclosed that has a double lumen portion which each lumen of the double lumen portion operably secured to an airway management system so that inspiratory fluid (air/oxygen mixtures, with or without added water vapor) is delivered to the distal end of the ventilation catheter through one of the two lumens and expired inspiratory fluid, pulmonary secretions, and pulmonary fluids are removed from the patient through the other lumen. The expiratory fluid pathway preferably includes a secretion collection system for removing the pulmonary secretions and the like from the pathway, thereby improving operation and safety of the system. The airway structure can be a ventilation catheter or a supraglottic airway system such as laryngeal mask and the like.
