ANESTHESIA DEVICE AND METHOD OF CONTROLLING HYDROGEN CONCENTRATION IN A HYDROGEN-CONTAINING ANESTHESIA GAS
An anesthesia device configured to measure the hydrogen concentration in an anesthesia gas containing a hydrogen gas includes: an anesthesia gas preparation circuit configured to generate anesthesia gas by mixing an air or an oxygen mixture air with a vaporized anesthetic; a closed circuit-type or semi-closed circuit-type respiratory circuit including a gas circulation passage configured to circulate the hydrogen-containing anesthesia gas containing the hydrogen gas and the vaporized anesthetic; and a hydrogen concentration measurement circuit configured to measure the hydrogen concentration in the hydrogen-containing anesthesia gas in the gas circulation passage, wherein the hydrogen concentration measurement circuit includes: an anesthetic removing member having a removability of the vaporized anesthetic in the hydrogen-containing anesthesia gas; and a hydrogen concentration measuring instrument provided on the secondary side of the anesthetic removing member.
COATED ANESTHETIC CONTAINER FOR AN ANESTHETIC DISPENSER AND MANUFACTURING PROCESS
A coated anesthetic container for an anesthetic dispenser includes an anesthetic tank, which is capable of receiving a liquid anesthetic (Nm), as well as a refill unit for refilling liquid anesthetic (Nm). The anesthetic tank includes a wall and a coating on the inner surface of the wall. A wall of the refill unit is connected in a fluid-tight manner to the wall of the anesthetic tank. A coating is applied at least to the inner surface of the wall of the anesthetic tank. This coating is made of an alloy of nickel and phosphorus. The nickel portion is in a range of 80 wt.% to 97 wt.%, and the phosphorus portion is in a range of 3 wt.% to 15 wt.%. A process is provided for manufacturing such an anesthetic container.

FILTER ARRANGEMENT AND PROCESS FOR FILTERING A GAS FROM A GAS MIXTURE
An arrangement and a process filter out at least one gas from a gas mixture. A filter unit (4) of the filter arrangement comprises an inlet and an outlet and is adapted to filter the gas out of the gas mixture while the gas mixture flows through the filter unit (4). The filter unit (4) takes up the gas and heats up in the process. A filter temperature sensor (46, 46.2) of the filter arrangement is adapted to measure at least once an indicator of the temperature in a first measuring area (MP, MP.2) inside the filter unit (4). Depending on the measured temperature, a message is generated and output in a form perceptible by a human being. This message includes information about the current state of the filter unit (4).
Methods and systems for waste gas detection in an anesthetic vaporizer
Systems and methods are provided for detecting and sequestering waste anesthetic gases released by an anesthetic vaporizer. In one embodiment, a method for an anesthetic vaporizer installed in an anesthesia machine includes detecting an emission of waste anesthetic gases (WAGs) from the anesthetic vaporizer, and responsive to detecting the emission of WAGs, performing at least one of scavenging the WAGs and outputting an alert.
Medical module including automated dose-response record system
An automated dose-response record system including a module for housing waste-heat producing electronic and electromechanical medical equipment including at least one physiologic monitor, and including a system to measure, temporally correlate and record dose and response events.

Apparatus and method for supplying anesthetic agent and anesthesia system for providing inspiration gas to lungs of a subject
An apparatus and method for supplying anesthetic agent to an anesthesia system. The system is connecting detachably with at least two such apparatuses. The apparatus includes a storage volume for a liquid anesthetic agent and a space for evaporating the liquid agent. The apparatus also includes a gas inlet port for receiving a fresh gas for mixing with evaporated agent and a gas outlet port for conducting the gas mixture including evaporated agent to the system. The apparatus also includes a logic circuit for controlling anesthetic agent supply and an apparatus signal connector to exchange information. The apparatus signal connector includes at least one first apparatus contact for receiving from the system a signal indicating whether anesthetic agent supply is allowed or prevented, and a second apparatus contact to indicate that this apparatus is configured to supply anesthetic agent.
