DELIVERY DEVICES AND METHODS FOR LEADLESS CARDIAC DEVICES
Delivery devices, systems, and methods for delivering implantable leadless pacing devices are disclosed. An example delivery device may include a proximal section including a deflection mechanism for deflecting the proximal section, and a distal holding section extending distally of a distal end of the proximal section and defining a cavity therein for receiving an implantable leadless pacing device. The distal holding section may be structured to have portions that flex and bend while allowing the implantable device to be recaptured within the distal holding section.
Anti-Reflux Plug Forming Detachable Tip Microcatheter
A medical device and methods of use are disclosed herein. The medical device includes a base microcatheter and a microcatheter tip assembly detachably coupled to a first end of the base microcatheter. The microcatheter tip assembly includes a body defining at least one lateral hole and a loading region, and an opening in a first end of the microcatheter tip assembly. The medical device includes a membrane carrier disposed within the loading region of the microcatheter tip assembly. The membrane carrier includes a body defining an opening, and a membrane covering the opening in the membrane carrier. The membrane is configured to rupture in response to a force applied to the membrane. When the membrane is disposed within the loading region of the microcatheter tip assembly and the membrane is not ruptured, the membrane is configured to prevent the flow of material through the opening in the first end of the microcatheter tip assembly.
Boosting catheter and related systems and methods
Disclosed herein is a catheter for positioning through a conventional guiding catheter into the vasculature of a patient, the catheter having a distal tube and a proximal shaft coupled to a proximal portion of the distal tubular member. The distal tube can have a tubular wall, a tube lumen defined within the tube by the tubular wall, a proximal opening sized to allow a medical device to be positioned therethrough, and at least one opening defined within the tubular wall along a length of the distal tube.
Catheter device
The catheter device comprises a drive shaft connected to a motor, and a rotor mounted on the drive shaft at the distal end section. The rotor has a frame structure which is formed by a screw-like boundary frame and rotor struts extending radially inwards from the boundary frame. The rotor struts are fastened to the drive shaft by their ends opposite the boundary frame. Between the boundary frame and the drive shaft extends an elastic covering. The frame structure is made of an elastic material such that, after forced compression, the rotor unfolds automatically.

Extended introducer for left radial access
An introducer extension with an extended, gradually curved section outside of the body enables a clinician to use an access site positioned across the body of that patient. An optional flexible or extendable section of the introducer extension allows a clinician to customize the shape of the introducer extension to a particular patient or clinician preference. The introducer extension includes a tubular sidewall extending along a longitudinal axis from a proximal end of the introducer extension to a distal end of the introducer extension and defining a lumen extending along the longitudinal axis. The tubular sidewall is configured to define a curved configuration having at least one curve between the proximal end and the distal end. The distal end is configured to couple to an introducer sheath. The lumen is configured to allow passage of a medical device.
Smart obturator with sensor and smart obturator assembly
An obturator assembly includes an obturator at least partially positionable within a lumen of a device. The obturator has a distal end with a tip portion and an opposing proximal end. A sensor assembly is at the tip portion. The sensor assembly is configured to sense one or more environmental characteristics and to generate one or more signals representative of the one or more environmental characteristics. A hub is operatively coupled to the obturator. The hub is also operatively coupled to electronic circuitry that is coupled in signal communication with the sensor assembly. In certain embodiments, the electronic circuitry is configured to receive the one or more signals from the sensor assembly and transmit the one or more signals to remote reception circuitry and/or display a datum representative of the one or more environmental characteristics on a display of the hub.
Catheter
A catheter according to an embodiment of the present disclosure includes a mesh member, a first hollow shaft, a front end tip, a guiding film, and a core wire. The mesh member has a tubular shape and is radially expandable and contractable. The guiding film is formed with a stretchable material and is disposed on the mesh member, the guiding film having a front end located between a base end of the front end tip and a front end of the first hollow shaft. A thickness of a base end of the guiding film is larger than a thickness of the front end of the guiding film.
