Container for storing wafer
The present invention relates to a container for storing a wafer, particularly to a container for storing a wafer in which a plurality of purging areas is vertically partitioned in the interior of a storage chamber, and a purge gas is sprayed into the plurality of purging areas, thereby allowing not only uniform purging of the wafer to be assured but also efficient purging of the wafer without waste of the purge gas to be achieved.
SEPARATORS FOR HANDLING, TRANSPORTING, OR STORING SEMICONDUCTOR WAFERS
Introduced here is a wafer separator configured to carry a semiconductor wafer with improved efficiency, protection, and reduced costs when utilized in the handling, transport, or storage of semiconductor components. The wafer separator may include a circular ring having an outer edge defining a periphery of the circular ring. The circular ring may include an inner edge defining a central opening of the circular ring. The wafer separator may include a first-right angled recess for receiving a semiconductor wafer that extends downward from a top surface of the circular ring. The wafer separator may also include a second right-angled recess for maintaining a gap beneath the semiconductor wafer when the semiconductor wafer is set within the first right-angled recess. In some embodiments, the wafer separator also includes interlock components for connecting the wafer separator to adjacent wafer separators.
Multi-Zone Platen Temperature Control
A system and method for etching workpieces in a uniform manner are disclosed. The system includes a semiconductor processing system that generates a ribbon ion beam, and a workpiece holder that scans the workpiece through the ribbon ion beam. The workpiece holder includes a plurality of independently controlled thermal zones so that the temperature of different regions of the workpiece may be separately controlled. In certain embodiments, etch rate uniformity may be a function of distance from the center of the workpiece, also referred to as radial non-uniformity. Further, when the workpiece is scanned, there may also be etch rate uniformity issues in the translated direction, referred to as linear non-uniformity. The present workpiece holder comprises a plurality of independently controlled thermal zones to compensate for both radial and linear etch rate non-uniformity.

RETICLE ENCLOSURE FOR LITHOGRAPHY SYSTEMS
A reticle enclosure includes a base including a first surface, a cover including a second surface and coupled to the base with the first surface facing the second surface. The base and the cover form an internal space that includes a reticle. The reticle enclosure includes restraining mechanisms arranged in the internal space and for securing the reticle, and structures disposed adjacent the reticle in the internal space. The structures enclose the reticle at least partially, and limit passage of contaminants between the internal space and an external environment of the reticle enclosure. The structures include barriers disposed on the first and second surfaces. In other examples, a padding is installed in gaps between the barriers and the first and second surfaces. In other examples, the structures include wall structures disposed on the first and second surfaces and between the restraining mechanisms.
Method for inspecting a container and inspection system
The present disclosure relates to a method for inspecting a container body adapted and configured to hold substrates, comprising the steps of directing light from a light source onto a reflector element positioned within an interior space of the container body, such that the light is reflected to illuminate at least one interior surface of the container body, wherein the light is reflected by the reflector element in a diffuse manner and generating at least one image of the at least one interior surface by means of at least one camera, and evaluating the state of the container body on the basis of the at least one image.
Buffer unit, and apparatus and method for treating substrate with the unit
A buffer unit for storing a substrate includes a housing having a buffer space inside, a substrate support unit that supports one or more substrates in the buffer space, a pressure adjustment unit that adjusts pressure in the buffer space, and a controller that controls the pressure adjustment unit. The pressure adjustment unit includes a gas supply line that supplies a gas for pressurizing the buffer space and a gas exhaust line that reduces the pressure in the buffer space. The controller controls the pressure adjustment unit to maintain the buffer space in a selected one of a filling mode in which the buffer space is filled with the gas and an exhaust mode in which the buffer space is evacuated.

An embodiment provides a wafer cassette stoker comprising: a cassette on which a plurality of wafers are loaded; a plurality of chambers disposed in one line while forming at least one layer, wherein the cassette after being cleaned is inserted in each of the chambers and a humidity control unit for supplying a compressed dry air (CDA) into the insides of the chambers so as to control humidity of the cassette.
Substrate processing apparatus and method of opening/closing lid of substrate accommodating vessel
A substrate processing apparatus includes: a substrate processing part including a load port configured to place thereon a substrate accommodating vessel in which at least one substrate is accommodated, and configured to take out the at least one substrate from the substrate accommodating vessel and to perform a series of processes on the at least one substrate; and a controller configured to control an opening and closing of a lid of the substrate accommodating vessel, wherein the controller performs control to open the lid after the substrate accommodating vessel is placed on the load port, and the controller performs control to close the lid when an abnormality occurs in the substrate processing part and when none of the at least one substrate removed from the substrate accommodating vessel can be recovered to the substrate accommodating vessel after a predetermined period of time from the occurrence of the abnormality.

The present invention provides an apparatus for packing wafer cassettes, the apparatus including: a loading part to which a wafer cassette is loaded; an accessory inspecting part configured to check a recipe attached to the wafer cassette and inspect accessories of the wafer cassette; a first label attaching part configured to attach a first label to the wafer cassette on which the accessory inspection has been completed; a primary film packing part configured to receive a primary film according to the recipe and pack the wafer cassette using the primary film; a secondary film packing part configured to receive a secondary film according to the recipe and secondarily pack the wafer cassette using the secondary film; a second label attaching part configured to attach a second label to the secondary film with which the wafer cassette has been packed; and an unloading part configured to discharge the wafer cassette which has been completely packaged.
