A biocomposite material and methods and systems for forming a biocomposite material are provided. In one example, a biocomposite material includes a biopolymer material and an internal structure imparting zonal properties to the biocomposite material, where the biopolymer material at least partially surrounds and/or extends through the internal structure. The biopolymer material includes mycelium grown from a fungal strain.

Footwear and footwear production process includes steps that include the reuse of raw materials previously used in footwear or other sources. The process also provides for the reduction of waste and environmental impact as well as the elimination of water consumption. Footwear includes renewable origin, natural, recycled and recyclable components, being a sustainable product, ecologically viable and inserted in the context of Circular Bio Economy. The footwear presents quality standards in accordance with standard technical standards of quality, overcoming challenges related to obtaining comfortable and simultaneously sustainable shoes.

The present invention relates to a footwear article (10), comprising: a upper (30), a majority by mass of the upper or a majority of the surface of the upper is made of a main upper material and possibly of one or more auxiliary upper material(s); a sole (20), a majority by mass of the sole is made of a main sole material and possibly of one or more auxiliary sole material(s);
and the main upper material, and possibly the auxiliary upper material(s), and the main sole material, and possibly the auxiliary sole material(s), is/are selected among the following materials: the polyolefins, the styrenic thermoplastic elastomers, the olefinic thermoplastic elastomers, and the vulcanized thermoplastic elastomers. The present invention also relates to a method for manufacturing such a footwear article (10).

The present disclosure provides a recyclable article. The recyclable article may comprise a recyclable shoe, recycle apparel, recyclable gear, a recyclable bag, a recyclable club, and/or a recyclable ball. The recyclable article may be processed into one or more source materials that can be used to produce one or more other articles.

A dustproof work shoe using recycled PET, includes: an outsole made of a conductive rubber portion; and an insole being laid on the top of the outsole and having electrical conductivity. The insole is made using a nickel-plated copper fabric in combination with a carbon-graphene yarn and provided in the bottom of the shoe that comes into contact with the foot. The insole is made of recycled PET.

Methods of manufacturing a component at least partially from waste yarns. In some embodiments, the waste yarns may be distributed on a surface and bonded to each other on the surface. The component may be least a part of an upper for an article of footwear, an article of apparel, or a sports equipment article.
