MEDICAL DEVICES FOR FLUID DELIVERY AND METHODS OF USE AND MANUFACTURE
20230045545 · 2023-02-09 ·

Medical devices and methods for delivering fluid. The medical devices include one or more needles for delivering fluid. The methods may optionally include expanding an expandable member such as an inflatable member to expand an expandable scaffold outward toward a lumen wall. The methods may include delivering a first fluid out of one or more needles, and delivering a secondary fluid (which may be the same type of fluid as the first fluid, or a different type of fluid) from the device without delivering the secondary fluid through a needle.

ELECTROSURGICAL APPARATUS AND METHOD OF TISSUE ABLATION

An electrosurgical apparatus for treating fluid-filled biological growths by replacing the fluid within the growth with a substance that assists in delivering treatment energy.

The treatment energy may be microwave energy or may be thermal energy derived from microwave energy. The apparatus comprises an instrument having a radiating tip portion, and a fluid delivery mechanism for transporting fluid to and from a treatment zone located around the radiating tip portion. The fluid delivery mechanism comprises a rigid insertion element arranged to extend into the treatment zone, whereby fluid can be aspirated from the treatment zone, and a substance injected into the treatment zone to replace the aspirated fluid. The injected substance has dielectric properties selected to facilitate uniform delivery of treatment energy to biological tissue in the treatment zone.

Telescoping atrial septum needle

Devices used to provide transseptal access are disclosed. The devices may comprise at least one cannula, a needle, and a handle. The cannula and the needle may be configured to be inserted through a dilator while not damaging a lumen wall of the dilator. The handle may be configured to lock the needle in a retracted position. The devices may be configured to telescopically advance the needle through an atrial septum.

The present invention describes a method and kit for performing a prostate medical or surgical treatment.

DEVICES, SYSTEMS, AND METHODS FOR VISUALIZING, ACCESSING AND PERFORMING INTERVENTIONS INVOLVING THE THORACIC DUCT
20230072174 · 2023-03-09 ·

The present disclosure relates generally to devices, systems, and methods for minimally invasive medical treatment, methods of diagnosing and treating diseases, and to visualizing, accessing, and perform interventions involving the thoracic duct.

Insertion type drug injection device
11596778 · 2023-03-07 · ·

The present disclosure relates to an insertion type drug injection device capable of being inserted into a body for injecting a drug into a skin, including: a main body having an open insert part and formed in a tubular shape having a hollow space therein, a needle assembly formed in the insert part, provided with a plurality of needles, and including a pneumatic port and a drug injection port, and a drug injection pipe inserted into the main body and connected to a drug injection port of the needle assembly, and an air flowing pipe connected to the pneumatic port.

DRUG SOLUTION INJECTION NEEDLE AND DRUG SOLUTION INJECTION NEEDLE SYSTEM

A drug solution injection needle includes: a distal end member being a sharp member and made of metal; a connecting tube having electrical insulating properties connected to a base end side of the distal end member; a metal tube connected to a base end side of the connecting tube; and an insulating layer covering an outer circumferential surface of a base end portion of the metal tube. The connecting tube and/or the distal end member includes at least one hole communicating with a cavity of the drug solution injection needle and open to an outer surface of the connecting tube or the distal end member, and an electrode configured to measure electric potential is formed by a distal end portion of the metal tube not covered by the insulating layer.

Augmented delivery catheter and method

The present invention relates to a catheter apparatus with an anchoring device to stabilize the catheter tip when in use, such as when infusing, injecting, or delivering substances, devices or other catheters into a patient. The apparatus according to various embodiments deploys an anchoring device that stabilizes the catheter tip and enables adjustment of the blood flow during use.

INTRAVASCULAR DEVICES AND METHODS FOR DELIVERY OF FLUIDS AND THERAPEUTIC AGENTS INTO BLOOD VESSEL WALLS AND INTRAVASCULAR STRUCTURES

Intravascular devices and methods for intramural delivery of dissection fluids and infusates are disclosed herein. In some embodiments, the systems include an infusion assembly that can access a position in vessel adjacent an infusion site and advance a tissue manipulation component into the infusion site to deliver a therapeutic infusate. The infusion site can be an intraluminal space, such as within an obstructive material, adjacent the obstructive material, and/or within a boundary layer between the obstructive material and a vessel wall. The infusion assembly can further deliver an infusate that includes a therapeutic drug or other agent into the infusion site.
