Protective shoe cover
A protective shoe cover includes a shoe-shaped main body that is constructed from two complementary shaped sides that form a toe section, a heel section, and an ankle section which define a hollow interior space. Each of the two sides are removably secured together along the back end of the main body via a fastener which extends between the heel section and the ankle opening. A bottom opening is positioned along the bottom end of the main body for receiving the outsole of an inserted shoe, and a plurality of ledges extend along the bottom opening to engage the outsole and secure the same within the protective cover.
ATHLETIC POSITIONING APPARATUS AND APPLICATIONS THEREOF
An apparatus includes a heel section, a mid-foot section, and a toe section. The heel section, the mid-foot section, and the toe section collectively have a geometric shape having a first slope of a polarity along an inner edge of the apparatus from the toe section to the heel section and a second slope of the polarity along the inner edge of the apparatus to an outer edge of the apparatus at the toe section.
SYSTEM FOR PHYSICAL MOBILITY ACTIVITY OF A PERSON
System for physical mobility activity of a person, comprising at least one fixed support member and at least one contact member to be worn by the person In motion, wherein the support member and the contact member comprise at least one support surface and at least one contact surface, respectively, wherein the support surface and the contact surface constitute the respective components of a hook-and-loop fastening connection consisting of hooks and loops, wherein the hooks have hook stems and hook openings, wherein the hook openings on the support surface or contact surface in question are at least substantially all situated at the same side of the hook stems in question, when considered in a first direction parallel to the support surface or contact surface in question.
SYSTEM FOR RETAINING AN UPPER ON A SOLE STRUCTURE
An article of footwear, comprising a sole having a top portion and a bottom portion, and one or more straps, wherein at least one of the straps extends from the top portion to the bottom portion through a channel in the sole, and the strap has a plug end; and a retention element disposed between the plug end and the bottom portion of the sole, wherein the retention element comprises a base and one or more flanges disposed at an outer edge of the base projecting angularly upward and away from the base.
Shoe insert
A footwear insert comprising an insert member, the insert member comprising a first surface and a second surface, the first surface opposing the second surface, the first surface comprising a releasable attachment for an internal portion of footwear and the second surface comprising a releasable attachment for a foot. The insert may be a heel insert. There is also provided a kit comprising: a) a first insert member; and b) two or more second insert members, and a kit comprising two or more second insert members. The presence of a second surface with a releasable attachment to the foot means that the foot is indirectly attached to the inside of the footwear via the insert member and its attachment to the footwear. This impedes the foot slipping from the footwear and prevents movement of the foot against the insert member.
Surgical shoe for receiving an orthotic insert
A surgical shoe for receiving an orthotic insert is disclosed. The surgical shoe includes a shoe element configured to be worn on a wearer's foot. The shoe element includes a lower section and an upper section. The lower section is configured to be positioned below a wearer's foot, and the upper section is configured to couple the lower section to a wearer's foot. A looped body is configured to be positioned within the surgical shoe and to surround a circumference of an orthotic insert. A first attaching element couples a first surface of the looped body to an upward facing surface of the lower section. A second attaching element is configured to couple a second surface of the looped body to the upward facing surface. A third attaching element is configured to couple an orthotic insert to the upward facing surface of lower section of the shoe element.
Convertible shoe
The convertible shoe consists of: a top portion having a stylized upper, a footbed, and an underside with bottom side attachment; an insert with top side attachment and a bottom side attachment; and a bottom portion having a top side attachment and a tread on the bottom. The top side attachment of the bottom portion and insert are identical, and the bottom side attachment of the top portion and insert are identical. The bottom side attachment is sized and configured to correspond to, and attach to, the top side attachment, such that the top portion can attach directly to the bottom portion to create a low-heeled shoe, or attach to the insert which is attached to the bottom portion to create a high-heeled shoe.
FOOTWEAR ASSEMBLY
A footwear assembly includes a shoe having a vamp and an outsole. The shoe includes a first room defined between the vamp and the outsole, and a first opening is formed in the top of the shoe and communicates with the first room. A first connection member is located on outside of the first opening. A water-proof sock is inserted in the first room via the first opening, and has a neck portion formed along the second opening of the water-proof sock. The neck portion is able to be foldable relative to the water-proof sock and has a second connection member which is connected to the first connection member when the neck portion is foldable relative to the water-proof sock.
Fiber-bound engineered materials formed using zonal scrims
A fiber bound engineered material is provided that imparts an intended characteristic at an intended relative location. A fiber layer is entangled with additional fibers in a manner to create a non-uniform engineered material. The lack of uniformity of a fiber bound engineered material may be accomplished through manipulation of the fibers and/or through fiber binding a scrim. The fiber layer binds with additional fibers through entanglement such that a mechanical connection between the entangled fibers is provided. This entanglement allows the fibers to bind without supplemental adhesives, interlacing, or connections. Variations in the fibers and/or inclusion of scrim materials prior to entanglement allows for an intended characteristic (e.g., a functional characteristic) at an intended relative location (e.g., a position determined by an article to be formed therefrom).
Article with ribbon loops for string lasting
An article of footwear includes a sole structure and an upper secured to the sole structure. The upper is configured to receive a foot of a wearer and has a peripheral region. Further, the upper includes a ribbon structure formed of a plurality of ribbon sections, and a plurality of ribbon loops extending from a peripheral region of the upper.
