An agricultural system includes a tow bar, a first row-cleaning device, and a second row-cleaning device. The first row-cleaning device is attached to the tow bar via a first frame and includes a first roller device in a trailing position relative to a first furrow-opener disk and configured to crush standing residual plant matter along a first path on a field. The second row-cleaning device is attached to the tow bar via a second frame and includes a second roller device in a trailing position relative to a second furrow-opener disk and configured to crush standing residual plant matter along a second path on the field. The second roller device is offset longitudinally from the first roller device.

Liftable secondary cutting unit for a combine harvester

A header for a combine harvester has a primary implement, a secondary implement and a link that is connected with the secondary implement. The header further has a lifting device with a slide element that is formed and connected with the link so that a translational movement of the slide element causes a lifting of the secondary implement relative to the primary implement.

Dual-position quick-connect mount and adjustably tensioned stalk stomper

Apparatus and associated methods relate to a two-position quick-connect mounting system for mounting a farm implement to a toolbar in an operating configuration, the mounting assembly including a toolbar bracket and an implement bar, the implement bar being mounted to the toolbar bracket by: i) raising the implement bar into a downward facing cavity of the toolbar bracket; and ii) longitudinally translating the implement bar such that lateral projections on either side of the implement bar are received into operating slots in the toolbar bracket, and a spring-biased locking member automatically engages a securing member. In an illustrative embodiment, the implement bar may be mounted to the toolbar bracket in a stowage configuration by sliding the projections into stowage slots separate from the operating slots. In some embodiments, the implement may advantageously be mounted in one of two mounting configurations, without requiring tools.

Mulching device for processing plant stubble on a field

A mulching device is equipped with a tool that can be set into rotation about an axis of rotation tilted upwards and to the rear in order to process plant stubble. The rotational direction of the tool can be selected such that the tool is pressed back out of the ground by the driving torque in the event of an overload.

EXTRACTOR DEVICE FOR CROP PRODUCTION SYSTEMS
20190261558 · 2019-08-29 ·

The present invention relates to a no-till stem and root extractor system that has directionality, the ability to fit into tight clearance areas, which not only pushes the stalks down and splinters them, but extracts the root ball from the soil as well, enhances decomposition of remaining cellulose residue, and minimizes root ball interference with seedlings properly engaging the soil. A conveyor chain crop remnant extractor assembly has a pair of flexible conveyor chains, a pair of coupling conveyor arms, two pairs of rotatable wheels, a pinch cylinder, and a plurality of cross-slat bars. As the device moves along the crop remnants, the pair of flexible conveyor chains, guided and retained by the two pairs of rotatable wheels, pull the stalks and root balls from the earth, pinch, and pulverize the complete crop remnants.

Quick change lawn mower blades

A mower blade assembly attaches to a rotatable spindle and includes a mounting plate which defines a first pin aperture. The mounting plate and a retaining plate are attached to the rotatable spindle. The retaining plate defines a second pin aperture. A movable pin plate comprises a pin. A blade is selectively attachable to the mounting plate. The blade defines a retaining plate aperture and a third pin aperture. A biasing member urges the movable pin plate from a disengaged position to an engaged position. The pin is engageable with the pin apertures for mounting and retaining the cutting blade to the mounting plate. The blade is attached by moving the blade over the retaining plate aperture, urging the movable pin plate to the disengaged position, rotating the blade, and releasing the movable pin plate. Another embodiment includes a force finger.
